Welcome Note
orld Federation of Societies for Paediatric Urology was conceived in the year 1998 at the First organization
International Congregation of Paediatric Urologists as a super specialty organization. The primary objective of the WOFSPU is to develop Paediatric Urology by optimal utilization of individual and collective efforts.
The primary objective of Asian Society for Paediatric Urology (ASPU), Indian Society for Paediatric Urology (ISPU) and its chapters is to improve the focus of Paediatric surgeons in the field of Paediatric Urology. We wish to welcome you to the Biannual Joint Meeting of ASPU and ISPU, under the aegis of WOFSPU, with the International Workshop cum Symposium on Paediatric Urology. This will be held on August 29-31 at J L Auditorium, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. We wish you to avail this opportunity in taking the practice of Paediatric Urology to newer horizons and look forward to hosting you in the lovely ambience of the capital of India.
This workshop has dedicated sessions for live surgical demonstrations of primary and complicated surgical techniques in different experienced hands. Two operations will be performed at the same time and the participants will watch these operations live on the screen with the opportunity to address questions to the operating surgeon. We believe, these discussions, especially between the operating faculty and participants will provide a pragmatic approach to problems based upon experiences under varied clinical situations. The participating societies will work together towards improving the wellness of our patients.
