The IPA Spain Section looks forward to hosting the 2015 International Youth Gathering and has put together a program for a 14-day tour (1st – 15th August 2015).

THE THEME of IYG2015 is “Spain, a multicultural journey without borders”

IYG Spain 2015 will travel through the north of Spain, from East to West. Commencing in Barcelona and travelling through Bilbao, Donosti, A Coruña, Santiago de Compostela, Leon, Valladolid, Palencia, Madrid and Zaragoza.

Come to Spain, it will be an opportunity to experience travel to another country and to meet people of a similar age from different cultures and backgrounds while gaining a deeper knowledge of our history and culture and through association with other participants, the culture of other countries and social character.

AGE: The 2015 Youth Gathering has been designed for the teenage; the participant shall be 16 or 17 years of age at the start of the IYG.

WHO CAN APPLY? : Open to the children or grandchildren of current IPA members. Each IPA country can send two applicants with the option of a third applicant if there are enough places free. Attendance of the participants must be authorized by the IPA Section in their home country. The number of participants is limited to 50 and will be handled on a «first-come, first-served» basis.

COST OF IYG: 700 € per child exclusive of Air Travel costs and includes accommodation, meals, all excursions and coach travel within Spain.

INSURANCE: Child must be in possession of travel / health insurance which covers Sports Activities.

REGISTRATION will start on 1st January and closing date, 31 st March 2015. Please note that we will not accept any registration forms before that date.

A deposit of 200 € must accompany each registration when it is submitted. The remaining balance of 500 € (total 700 €) of the registration fee should be paid by no later than 31st March 2015 or any places reserved may be forfeited. Deposits will be returned, upon request, prior to 28th February 2015

Obligations, Terms & Conditions & Parental Consent

1. OBLIGATION OF THE APPLICANT – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

You are going abroad as a representative for your country and your IPA National Section will be judged according to the way you conduct yourself. You should therefore remember that you are an ambassador and as such, you are responsible for your conduct and general behaviour. The object of the trip is to bring you into contact with persons from other countries so that you will get to know their way of life and culture. In that way helping to promote better understanding between peoples in the best traditions of the International Police Association. You should therefore try to establish and afterwards maintain contact with your new friends. Every participant will be required to pen an account of their experience during this Youth Gathering. Participants are prohibited from consuming tobacco, alcohol and other drugs. You will not be permitted to drive a motor vehicle while under the control of the International Youth Gathering. You will immediately be sent home should the Organisers decide that your actions and conduct are not in the spirit of the International Police Association. Those who do not agree with these guidelines and are not prepared to conform should not apply for the International Youth Gathering.

we have read the “Obligations of the Applicant” and we agree that he/she has our permission to apply for participation in the International Youth Gathering. NOTE INFORMATIVE

La Sezione Spagnola dell’IPA ospita l’edizione 2015 dell’IYG, ossia del Raduno Internazionale dei Giovani, con un programma molto interessante di 14 giorni, dal tema: “Spagna, un viaggio multiculturale senza confini”. Il programma prevede la visita del Nord della Spagna, da est a ovest: partendo da Barcellona, i partecipanti avranno l’opportunità di visitare Bilbao, Donosti, A Coruña, Santiago de Compostela, Leon, Valladolid, Palencia, Madrid e Zaragoza. Si tratta di un’occasione unica per viaggiare all’estero ed incontrare ragazzi della stessa età di tutto il mondo, con un background culturale molto diverso, ed allo stesso tempo approfondire la conoscenza della storia e della cultura spagnola, il tutto grazie all’IPA! COSTO: € 700,00 a partecipante, comprensivo di sistemazione, pasti, tutte le escursioni come da programma, transfer in pullman per la visita delle città spagnole. Nel costo non sono incluse le spese di viaggio (biglietto aereo, treno, ecc…). PAGAMENTO: deposito di € 200,00 a partecipante all’atto dell’iscrizione. Saldo di € 500,00 a partecipante entro il 31 marzo 2015. Il deposito sarà restituito solo in caso di rinuncia alla partecipazione entro il 28 febbraio 2015. Eventuali spese bancarie sono a carico del partecipante. Nei bonifici, indicare chiaramente IYG 2015 + nome del partecipante.
