Local Health CentersBradford County is fortunate to be the home of Guthrie, a non-profit integrated health care delivery system that currently includes three hospitals, more than 440 physicians and mid-level providers, 32 regional provider offices in 23 communities across Pennsylvania and New York, home health and home care services, and a research institute.

The 254-bed Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre is a Regional Level II Trauma Center and Truven Top 50 Cardiovascular Hospital and offers a full range of diagnostic, medical and surgical services.
Guthrie Towanda Memorial Hospital is a full-service community hospital that provides inpatient, outpatient, critical care, surgery, radiology, specialized therapies, emergency care and emergency medical transport services.
Guthrie Troy Community Hospital opened a new Critical Access hospital in Troy, offering 24-hour emergency services with 24-hour laboratory, radiology and ultrasound support; imaging services and medical/surgical services.

WORKFORCE TRAININGCompanies can tap into workforce training programs from numerous organizations: Penn College at Towanda: Employers from Bradford County have been very successful recruiting from the Pennsylvania College of Technology, which now has a branch in Towanda that can customize courses for employers. Bradford County Action: This private non-profit community-based organization provides training programs for adults and youth. Activities include career preparation, on-the-job training and employer services. PA Career Link: Offering one-stop access to a wide range of employment and career development services to job seekers and employers, PA Career Link serves as a community resource for workforce needs.
