What have we done?We have interviewed students and companies in order to switch from the “unknown” to the “arena”!
• Collected responses of 112 international students
• Interviewed 17 companies• Compared the results

In general, companies and students expect the same from each other. However:
Conclusion from our survey
• Students underestimate the companies’ demand for practical skills and social integration
• Students overestimate the companies’ need for prior work experience
• When you head for a certain company after graduation, an internship can open you the doors
Conclusion
Example: 50% of Procter and Gamble‘s new managers recruited have gone through an internship with the company before.
