Interracial Dating at ITT Technical Institute
Uncovered
Steven Carter
Thesis Statement • This survey was conducted in order to understand peoples
true feelings towards the opposite race. There are a variety of different ethnicities at ITT Technical Institute in Torrance. These different ethnicities may be friends with each other, but what about when it comes to having a serious relationship with the opposite race/ethnicity such as dating or marriage. Do they have any bias when it comes to this issue? Where is their level of comfort when it comes to this issue? In general, what is their opinion about interracial relationships and is this way of life a problem for them? These are the questions the volunteers were asked on the survey and from their answers this survey will uncover their true feeling towards interracial relationships and the opposite race.
Location• This survey was
conducted at ITT Technical Institute located at 20050 S. Vermont Avenue Torrance, CA 90502.
• 40 people have volunteered to do this survey. Including several students and staff members, their answers are located in this presentation.
