This year, the district has started a new process called “Verification of Next Institution” or “VANI.” The goal is to have 100% feedback from seniors regarding their plans after graduation, and to insure that we, as counselors, are having conversations with our students regarding their next steps. For every senior, we will need the attached document stating if they’re planning go on to a 2 or 4 year college, technical school, apprenticeship, military, or work.

VANI Continued

For all students accepted into any type of program for next year, counselors must have a copy of acceptance letter as well. We are adding this to the requirements for the High School & Beyond Plan/Culmination Project as well. Please filled out the VANI Handout and return it to your future advisor on counselor by March 12th. If you have yet tor receive a acceptance letter from college of your choice, please turn in your VANI and acceptance as soon as you return you letter.
