Four Search Options

Keyword SearchType in any word and the videos that include that word in the title or description will be listed.

unitedstreaming will list the videos in order of relevance, so the videos most likely to match your topic will appear first.

If videos are scheduled, the unitedstreaming server gives commands to the School Video Server to go to the EPS Main Video Server and download the video to it’s hard drive.

Once the video has been downloaded to the school server, it can be used at any time of the day or night.

The first step to showing video is to access the unitedstreaming site at http://www.unitedstreaming.com and log into your account.

Look at the video list below. Let’s start taking a look at the icons to the left of each video clip title.

Show (Stream) the Video

The S button stands for STREAM, but you might want to think of it as the SHOW button. When you click on it, the video shows in the player on the left side of the screen.

Download Video to Your ComputerYou can also download video to a hard drive on your computer. There are several reasons why you might want to do this:

• You can play your server even if the Internet connection or the building network is down.

• You can play it in Windows Media Player, which provides more playback tools.

• You can include the videos in other applications.

The QUIZ CENTER allows you to create a list of videos that students can access from outside the school. With Quiz Center, students do not need a password to view the videos.
