All of our technical staff have been trained and certified through the Canadian Security Associations (CANASA) Alarm Technician Training Course, Level I & Level II and the staff members in our Underwritersʼ Laboratories of Canada (ULC) Listed Signal Receiving Center are trained and certified by the Security Industry Association (SIA) Central Station Operator Course. Our Security Consultants are not only trained on all new products, but are also provided “refresher” training on our existing products as required.

By implementing access control on a single door, or multiple doors, you can control access to those areas based on time of day, day of the week, or on a person by person basis. All access control activities are logged allowing the tracking of employees, visitors and contractors within your facility.

A Visitor Management System allows for the secure tracking and admittance of authorized individuals into your facility. A Visitor signs in by scanning a business card or drivers license and a visitors badge is produced. Gone are the “pen & paper” sign-in sheets that create a potential breach of privacy, by allowing visitors to see who has signed in prior.

System Monitoring

Unlike many alarm companies, Damar Security Systems does not “contract out” our monitoring to another company. Our own Signal Receiving Centre is home to the most innovative security alarm communications and monitoring equipment in the industry. Our highly trained protective signal operators are standing by to receive alarm signals twenty-four hours a day. When a signal reaches our receiving centre, all information regarding the emergency condition, the customer and the appropriate authorities is immediately displayed on the operators screen. Within seconds we are in contact with the residence or business to verify the alarm condition and to contact the authorities if necessary.




System Monitoring Services

Damar Security Systems has a variety of value-added features that can be utilized to enhance the functionality of your security system. Features, such as web access to your security account, email & fax activity reports and email alerts for specific events. Events such as System Arming or Disarming can be sent via text message or email to a cellphone or email account - perfect for “Latch Key” kids. System Alarm and Supervisory conditions such as Low Temperature can also be sent via email or text message alerting you that an emergency condition exists.Web access to your account provides the ability to view account history, generate reports as well as to review contact information to ensure that the right people will be contacted in the event of an emergency condition.

Customer Critical Equipment Supervision

Damar can not only monitor your security system, but can also monitor critical process equipment within your facility. Damar has the capability to monitor conditions such as high or low temperatures, high or low fluid levels, or critical equipment failure. Should any of these conditions exist, our protective signal operators will contact the appropriate on-site or off-site personnel to alert them of the condition, facilitating an immediate response.
