Dear Invitee,

We are pleased to bring to your attention our forthcoming event Inspiration Afternoon 2013 to celebrate and commemorate “The day of the African Child” due to take place Sunday, 16th, June 2013 from 14:00-17:30 hours at the Castle the Wittenburg – Wassenaar (The Hague) in the Netherlands.

Since 16 June 1991, the Day of the African Child has been celebrated in memory of the school children killed in Soweto in South Africa in 1976 during the apartheid demanding their right to proper education. Today, 37 years later, access to quality education is still elusive for many African children either because of school fees, lack of educational materials and or underfunded schools. Nevertheless, creating a sustainable environment is what brings the bright and talented minds towards a conviction of shared responsibilities, determination for working for a better future and the everlasting nutrition of the future minds.

The day of the African Child 2013 will be honored by Mr. Patrick Awuah (via video) an extraordinary Ghanaian Millionaire who quit Microsoft to educate Africa’s future leaders.

We have invited Inter-Governmental Institutions Representatives, Members of the European Commission, African Ambassadors, Multinational Companies linked to Africa and Civil Society organizations/actors as well as artists from African descent.

We trust you will find time to grace us with your presence at this auspicious occasion. We look forward to receiving you on this special day of the African Child. Should you request further details, we are at your disposal anytime. You can reach us either through email [email protected] and or phone: +31(0)634 627 662.

Sincerely yours,

Brigitte Mugiraneza Founder & Chief Executive Officer
