Thank you for taking a moment to consider this invitation to a very special day designed just for you. We are Bobbye and Tonilee from Daily Disciples Ministries, hosting our 8th Annual Women’s Conference called “The Power of Friendship.” Our hearts are continually drawn to our community as we live, teach and continue to share God’s love and hope with women throughout San Diego and beyond. The event will be held at Point Loma Nazarene University in Brown Chapel from 9:00am to 4:30pm on Saturday, March 9, 2013. The purpose of this event is to bring women together from the surrounding communities as an outreach to those who need hope, healing and help. From our Sunday morning radio show on KPRZ 1210AM (The Way for Today) to the retreats and outreaches, we are continually hearing that women are lonely and fearful. This event is designed to reach all types of women, from Christians to non-Christians, to the churched and the un-churched. We are two women who understand the difficulties and pains of life: as women, as Christians, and as leaders who know our only hope is in Jesus and He is truly our greatest Friend. Women need to have love and hope, and we need each other for encouragement and strength. We invite you to join us for a day of encouragement, hope, love and the celebration of friendship. The morning session begins at 9:00am with a powerful time of praise and worship with Deanna Ramsay. The morning teaching will focus on “Being a Friend of God.” We will hear music and a message from Sylvia and Billye from Crimson Bridge, as they share about their friendship and ministry. The afternoon will kick off with an inspiring testimony from Carol LeBeau, her recent health issues and how God has seen her through some tough times. We are honored to have June Hunt from Hope for the Heart Ministries speaking in the afternoon. June has committed her life to teaching biblical principles of healing and hope. We encourage all of the attendees to bring their Bibles, as we teach from God’s Word. The final session will focus on our willingness to change and reach out to others. We know from past events that women’s lives will change as they seek the Lord and fellowship with other women. We are so excited to bring this message of love and friendship and we expect to see miracles in many lives of those who attend.
