1. Feature Description, lntegrity, Eligibility:The bature is a newer one room prairie school, moved to its present location for storage and gatheringplace. The bundation is oncrete blocks. The building is large, rneasuring z{feslt north to south and53 bet east b west with a 10 foot by I foot enty/porch, hatf of whicfr is the corered porch. The rmf ofthis building is covered with asphalt shingles. There is no chimney. Sofiits are closed.

The siding on this building is vertical fiber board. There are serveral vented glass block windows in thescftool, one at the east end of the north side, three on the east end, one at the west end, two largerwindows on the south side and a srnall window in the enfry- All glass is intact There is one newerenfy door at the norttruest omer of the norh sitle and anofter inb the enty from fte porcfi- Theporch is a concrete slab at the southeast comer of the school. The entry floor is covered with tile, thewalls and ceiling are sheetrock. The floor in the big room is covered with carpet. The walls are allsheet rock and the ceiling has ceiling tiles wiilr flourescent lighting. A black board runs along the northwall of the west 2/3rd of the school. As you walk into the big room there is a coat room to yourimrnediate dght along the east wall- Beyond the coahoom there is an archwry that leads into the other112 of the east end and it looks like it was used for storage. There are tables and chairs along withother stored items leading me to believe this was used br gatherings. lt is great space! Elecficity ispresent with numelous eiling lights.
