Week 8 IT 26Is the sentence in the Past, Present or Future?
• This teacher led activity aims to help the children differentiate between verbs in the past, present and future. No adverbial cues are given.
• The child’s task is to decide whether each sentence is in the Past, Present or Future.
• The next slide is an answer sheet. This should be printed, and distributed to the children before you start.
• When a pencil appears on the first few slides, this marks the time for the children to complete their answers. Proceed in the same pattern for the remainder of the game.
• A prompt of ‘Why?’ appears. This is the cue for discussion about the correct and incorrect answers. They then receive feedback on the screen.
