DOUBLE FOLDED SEAMThe roof of an Isabellaawning is sewn with adouble folded seam, ma-de with our specialist se-wing machines.This guarantees a straight,correct seam. A doublefolded seam produces astrong and secure roof.

MUDFLAP On almost all Isabella aw-nings the mudflap goesinside, to prevent draughtsin the awning and enhan-ce the performance of thepegging elastics.Triangular wing draughtexcluders are providedwith flexible pegging andvariable fit for differentcaravans.

VENTILATIONTo reduce the risk of con-densation, Isabella aw-nings (size G13 upwards)have strategically placedventilation panels.Helping you to achievean ideal indoor climate,some models also have amosquito net in the sidepanel(s), which can beopen/closed as required.

STORM SASHThis exclusive “Typhoon”storm sash is supplied asstandard with the newAlpha and Forum models.The teak wood guy ten-sioner is used to adjustthe sash, this stabilisesthe awning in windy we-ather and reduces wearon the canvas.

The new model Forum has plenty of possibilities for

customising the awning. Each caravanner, each trip,

chooses the layout by varying the positions of the front

panels and centre panel. Use the whole 3.5 metre

depth, or choose a one metre verandah over the whole

or half width of the awning.

To ascertain the correct size, you need to know; caravan make, mo-del, year, and "A" measurement as follows: Place the caravan on evenground. Measure from ground level at most forward point of channelto most rearward point of awning channel, and straight down to theground. This procedure is easily undertaken with a piece of string (seediagram). For part awnings the "A" measurement is not relevant, thechannel height and the distance between rafters are the decisive fac-tors. To create your own porch size, measure the area of the caravanyou wish to cover, allowing for door, locker and window positions,and convert a full awning with a foam pad, support pole and twodouble click profiles.

Isabella uses only the very best materials, supplied by Europe’s leading produ-cers for the camping industry.

The acryl material, both the heavy Isacryl and the lighter acryl, are dope-dyed(each thread is individually dyed providing optimum possible resistance to fa-ding). Acryl is a "breathable" material, which minimizes the risk of condensa-tion, and provides a comfortable living environment.The PVC/polyester material used for the lower panels and winter awnings, islacquered on both sides. This makes cleaning and maintenance easier.The roof material used in the Isabella standard awnings is a heavy, coated poly-ester canvas. For most Isabella awnings the roof has a neutral pattern on the in-

side, this reduces visible discolouration, which can arise in time from dirt andcontamination.All the materials used are impregnated to resist water, water-marks and mould.An Isabella awning has heavy duty reinforcements on all pressure points - insome places these are even double. These considerably minimize the risk ofwear from the poles and pegging points.

All these factors combine to create an awning designed with a long life expec-tancy, with the right care and maintenance, you can expect your Isabella aw-ning to be of great pleasure to you for many years ahead.
