Constitution1.ThenameoftheClubshallbetheIscaAnglingClub.2.TheobjectoftheClubshallbetopromoteandprovidefishingfacilitiesforitsmembers.

3.TheofficersoftheClubshallbeelectedattheAnnualGeneralMeetingwhichshalltakeplaceinthecloseseason.Allmembersmustbenotifiedbypostoremail.

4.TheOfficersoftheClubwillbeChairman,Hon.Secretary,Treasurer,RiverKeeperandupto6otherCommitteemembers.Allmustbeclubmembers.

5.TheCommitteewillmeetatsuchtimesasaredirectedbytheChairmanandallCommitteemembersmustbenotified.

6.AnAuditorshallbeelectedannuallywhomustbeanordinarymemberandthebooksoftheClubmustbesubmittedforaudit.

7.AllmoniescollectedfortheClubmustbebankedinthenameoftheClubforthwith.

8.AllexpenditureonbehalfoftheClubmustbeauthorisedbytheCommitteeandallchequesmustbesignedby2of3designatedsignatories.

9.MinutesshallbekeptbytheHon.SecretaryrecordingthebusinesstransactedateachCommitteemeetingandA.G.M.ThefinancialpositionoftheClubshallbereportedandrecordedintheformatofabalancesheetattheA.G.M.

10.MembershipapplicationsmustbeinwritingtotheHon.Secretary.Iftherearenovacancies,nameswillbeplacedonawaitinglistandmembershipofferedinsequenceofreceiptofapplicationsasvacanciesoccur.Membershipcardsarenottransferable.

11.TheCommitteehasthepowertoterminatemembership.Infringementoftheclubrules,unsportsmanlikebehaviour,oranyactionwhichisnotinthebestinterestsoftheclubanditsmembership,inparticularbiddingforfishingrightsagainsttheclub,canleadtomembershipbeingterminated.

12.TheCommitteehasthepowertodeclinetoacceptanapplicationforclubmembership.

13.TheCommitteeshallhavethepowertomakerulesandregulationsastheydeemtobeintheinterestsoftheClub.Aquorumof6membersshallbesufficienttotransactbusiness.

14.Clubmembershipislimitedto100adultmembersorsuchnumberastheCommitteedecidesfromtimetotime.

15.Membershipfees,setbytheCommittee,areduebyinDecemberfortheseasonaheadwitharewardschemeforpaymentbeforethe31st.Delayedpaymentmayresultinlossofmembership.

5.Membersmaynotincludeintheirlimitafishcaughtbyanother.6.Hooks:Salmon&seatrout: Anyspinnerorspoonmustbefittedwithasinglehook,notadoubleortreble.Notmorethanonehook,singleordouble,maybeusedonaplug.Thegape,measuredfromthepointtotheshank,ofanyhookonaspinner,spoonorplugmaybenogreaterthan13mm.Themaximumpermittedgapeonanyflyhookis10mm.Whensalmonaretobereleased,barblesshooksmustbeused.Trout:ifwormfishing,hooksmustbesize10orlarger.7.Allkeltsandcolouredfishmustbereturnedtotheriver.8.Before16June,allsalmonmust,bylaw,bereturned.From16June,ifasalmonshouldbereleasedundertheClub’srules(3,4or7)butfailstosurvivecapture,theanglermustnotifytheRiverKeeperassoonaspossibleonthedayofcapture(usethephonenumberoverleaf).Unlessotherwisedirected,thefishmustbesurrenderedtotheClubfordisposal.9.Daytickets,foronecalendarday,willbeavailabletoamember’sguestatthediscretionoftheSecretaryatacostdeterminedannuallybytheCommittee.Guestsmustbeaccompaniedbyamemberatalltimes.10.Carcardsmustbedisplayedandclearlyvisibleinyourvehicleatalltimeswhenfishingclubwaters.11.MembersmustcarrytheirphotographicidentificationcardandNRW/EArodlicencewhenfishing.Thesemustbeproducedifaskedforbyanothermemberorauthorisedperson.Thishelpsprotectthe

12.Noanglermusthavemorethanonerodinuseatatime.13.Membersmustrespectproperty,crops,hedges,fencesandpayparticularattentiontotheopeningandclosingofgates.Pleasegodirectlytotheriver.Donotwanderoverland.Donotleavelitterincludingfishingline.Lightingfiresisnotpermitted.14.Noanglershallfishapoolorrunwhichisbeingfishedbyanother(eitherinfrontorbehind)unlesshehasreceivedpermissiontodoso.Noanglershalloccupyapoolorrunformorethan30minutesafteranotheranglerhasgivennoticethatheiswaitingtofishthere.Anglersareexpectedtoactinasportsman-likemannersoastoavoidover-crowdingofpoolsandrunsbymovingonesteppercast.15.Bylaw,gaffsandtailersarebannedandlandingnetsmusthaveknotlessmesh.16.Accessandparkingmustbeasshownonthemapsprovidedandnowhereelse.17.Membermaynotbringdogsontoclubwaters.18.Anglersunder18mayfishfreeofchargeprovidedtheyareaccompaniedatalltimesbyamember,sharingthemember’srodandcatchlimit,andhavearelevantNRW/EArodlicence.19.TheCommitteeacceptsnoliabilityforanydamageorlossofequipmentorpersonalinjurytoanglersusingclubwaters.20.MembersmustsubmitacatchreturntotheSecretaryby31October.21.Compliancewithfisherieslaws,byelawsandtheserulesisaconditionofmembershipandpermissiontofishtheClub’swaters.Anglersdisregardingthemmay,atthediscretionoftheCommitteehavetheirticketscancelled,berestrainedfromfurtherfishingwithoutredressforanypaymentmade,andifappropriatebesubjecttolegalaction.

1.MembersmustholdandcarrytheappropriateNaturalResourcesWales(NRW)/EnvironmentAgency(EA)rodlicence.2.Fishingmethodsandseasons:Salmon:3rdMarch–15thJune:Flyonly 16thJune–31stAugust:Fly,spinningand,subjecttoRule4,otherlegalbaits 1stthSept–17thOct:Flyandspinningonly.Seatrout:asforsalmonbutfrom20thMarch.Trout: 3rdMarch–15thJune: Flyonly 16thJune-15thSept:Flyandwormonly 16th–30thSeptember:Flyonly.Ken’sPool,bothbanks,andGravelRunareflyonly.DownstreamofPlasLlechaonthetidalbeat,troutfishingisonlyallowedafter1May.Coarsefishingisonlypermittedfrom18thOctoberto2ndMarchontheNewbridgeBeat.3.Catch&releaseisencouragedtohelppreservefuturestocks:Salmon:Before16thJune:Allsalmonmustbereleasedwithminimuminjury.From16thJuneto31stAugust:1salmonperday,under27inches(70cms)long,upto2perseason,maybekeptbytheanglerwhocaughtthem.From1stSept:Allsalmonmustbereleasedwithminimuminjury.Trout&Seatrout:2perdayover11”/28cmsmaybekeptbytheanglerwhocaughtthem.4.Aftertakingtheirlimitofsalmonortroutmembersmaycontinuetofishbutnotwithworm.AllfishmustbereleasedpromptlyandwithminimuminjuryfollowingtheClub’sguidelines.
