Feedback
• [Teachers] have told us that the Teacher Portal is freeing up an additional 90 minutes of their time per week. Over the course of a school year, that adds up to more than 50 additional hours that [teachers] can devote to working with your students on learning, instead of sifting through file folders or standing in line at the copy machine.
Tom BoasbergSuperintendentDenver Public Schools12/3/10 – in an email distributed to all teachers
• …we were able to eliminate a ton of extra steps saving us countless labor hours, printing costs, label costs…

• Uploads with errors and warnings will cause issues in Schoolnet
• Teachers and administrators can use IMS to review ISEE upload quality
• Districts can request funds for ISEE upload streamlining as part of grant application

IMS Introduction
• Web-based sessions to provide Idaho education leaders an overview of Schoolnet and the deployment plan
• 10 webinars for district leaders demonstrating the system
• Cover topics such as: – Using classroom observations to verify that the data is informing
instruction– Using the number of times a teacher has logged on as a measure of
planning and preparation for evaluation, – Using Schoolnet data as part of PLC discussion, – Managing lesson plans within Schoolnet– Deployment plan, baseline versus Instructional Management System
