Success begins with a person’s will

It’s all in the state of mind

Life’s battles don’t always go to the stronger

or faster hand

But sooner or later the person who wins

Is the one who thinks ‘I can’

Dear Advisors,

Kindly read the following information carefully to make your stay with us as enjoyable and comfort-able as possible:

When you arrive at the airport, transport to the Hyatt Regency Hotel for both Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th will be provided (please email itinerary ASAP). For those persons living out, you will be responsible for your own transport but you may be able to arrange transport on the remaining days with other local live - out participants.

For arrivals at the hotel on Saturday, check in time is 3p.m. but as soon as rooms are ready for occupation, you will be assigned one. Your reservation for the extra night includes breakfast on Sunday morning.

There will be a facility to store your baggage in the event that you arrive early and your room is not ready.

Note CARAIFA/TTAIFA is responsible for attendees from Sunday 26th; therefore your first meal with us is dinner.

For arrival at the HYATT on Sunday 26th, check in time is 3 p.m. but as soon as rooms become ready you will be assigned one. Registration takes place at the Secretariat’s office in the Dia-mond Room. Here you will be given your Congress bag with a copy of the magazine (the pro-gramme will be on the middle page), a name tag and a wrist band. The wrist band distin-guishes the live- in and live- out participants. The latter (live-out) is not entitled to breakfast. This band is not to be removed until Thursday when the programme ends. If it is damaged, it will ONLY be replaced if the damaged one is submitted. This will be strictly enforced.

Please review your programme in the magazine. At 7.00 p.m. on Sunday April 26th the formal ceremony will be conducted. The attire will be lounge suits. You are to be seated by 6.45 p.m. Dinner will be served and there will be cocktails after the ceremony.

On Monday 27th, kindly consult your programme. Business attire is requested. The main plat-form sessions will be conducted in Regency IV, V & VI. You are expected to attend all sessions to get the full benefits of the programme. There will be 10 points for attending the Congress and 2.5 points for each workshop attended. The workshop on the new Insurance Bill will be relevant to Trinidad and Tobago advisors. Other regional participants can have this time for shopping. A map of the shopping area will be given to you in your registration bags. The shop-ping area is within walking distance.
