1 SRC FUNDRAISING This term, the SRC has done an exemplary job in raising some money to help buy stock feed for the drought-affected farmers. Our Schools Education Director asked for ‘Buy-a-bale’ to be the fund to support. Our students leapt into action and raised $1649-75 as a result. We had a group of Year 11 students who asked and received support from local businesses, who were only too happy to help. These businesses contributed with either stock fed products which Rotary is to distribute and donations or foodstuffs to sell at fundraising BBQs. We would like to thank all businesses that either considered supporting or actually did contribute to this effort. We would like to acknowledge and thank; Delta Agriculture, Elders, Landmark, Orana Support Services, DMC and Gower Carpet Cleaning and Restoration. Year 12 kicked in to the amount raised by collecting money at the front gate in their community efforts and celebrations marking the end of school. Thanks to all involved. A significant result to support those who need it! SENIOR RISE What’s on?
