The red is the symbol of the patriots’ blood. Patriots who died to get indipendence of the country.
In Italy there is our region, Lazio.
Rome is the capital of Italy and Lazio
In the city of Rome there is the smallest State in the world, Vatican City, that is the officialpapal residence.
CIOCIARIA
We live in the southern part of Lazio: in an area whichis called Ciociaria. The different colours on the leftrepresent the five districts in which generally Ciociariais usually represented according to criteria of historical,cultural and traditional homogeneity.
In Lazio region there is also our town, Frosinone….

OUR TOWN
The town where we live is FROSINONE, one of the five provinces of Lazio.With its 48.000, it is one of the most important communication junction of thewhole region. Despite several destructions, suffered during its history (the lastduring the Second World War), the town still preserves important evidences ofits past, shown in the Archaeological Museum.

PRIMARY SCHOOL “ AMEDEO MAIURI”
Our school is entitled to an academic, famous all over theworld: Amedeo Maiuri. He was born in Veroli, Ciociaria, in1886. When he was young he deeply interested inarchaeology and under his direction excavations were carriedout to bring to light the remains of Ercolano and Pompei.

In spite of our focus on intercultural activities our school priorities are:
