Research is critical to finding solutions for people with multiple sclerosis to live their best lives today and powering breakthroughs to ultimately lead to a cure. Whether you participate in MS research, or in Walk MS®, Bike MS® or MuckFest® MS,

donate, attend a leadership event, or advocate or volunteer, you move us closer.

We are relentless in our pursuit of a cure. Together, we will end MS forever. See you at the finish line!

Public Policy ConferenceIn March, nearly 300 people from across the country joined together in Washington, D.C. These MS activists—wearing orange—discussed priority issues including access to MS medications, healthcare coverage

and increased MS research funding. Be an MS activist at nationalMSsociety.org/MSactivist.

Stop. Restore. End.The National MS Society is the largest private funder of MS research in the world, recently funding ten pilot projects to test novel ideas like Dr. Yuhong Yang’s project: Activation of the inhibitory receptor PD-1 signaling pathway for MS therapy. Dr. Yang is a Research Associate Professor at The Ohio State University and hopes to explore targeting a novel pathway for stopping the immune attack in MS. I Ride With MS“I started riding because they said I couldn’t,” says Keith. “... because I couldn’t balance one, couldn’t stand the heat, couldn’t take the toll on my muscles, and the list went on. My doctor said I shouldn’t do it: I took that as a challenge. I ride for me and for all those who can’t. No one can do everything, but we can all do something.” Register at bikeMS.org.
