A Multi-Format Video SwitcherAV800HD is equipped with 4 multi-format HDMI inputs (1 RJ-45 & 3 HDMI) and 4 3G-SDI inputs, up to 8 video sources can be connected to it, and the input/output scalers allow the ratio to be adjusted to any screen resolution. For Outputs, AV800HD features 1 3G-SDI, 1 RJ-45 HDMI, 1 HDMI and 1 HDMI AUX Output for the total of 4 video outputs. A true multi-format performance in a single compact package!

PTZ Camera ControlThe AV800HD provides a streamlined onboard PTZ control (USB RS-422 adaptor required). Features a multi-functional joystick for panning and tilting, and a rotary knob for zooming in and out. Multi-Zoom FunctionThe Multi-Zoom function allows user to zoom in on a particular object of a video source to be viewed on the Multiview screen which can then be outputted. This ability lets you create the illusion of a multi-camera shoot with just one single camera.

As an added advantage, Multi-Zoom on the AV800HD is routed internally and can be achieved without the need of BNC jumper cables patched from channel to the next (usually done via a thru-put).

Embedded AudioExternal audio source, may it be background music or narration, and insert it into your video and be outputted via HDMI. Along with SMPTE Timebase support, you know precisely when and where to insert the audio signal without missing a beat.

What is HDCP?HDCP is an encoding technology present in the HDMI output from sources such as commercial Blu-ray Disks, digital broadcast tuners and gaming consoles that prevents illicit copying of copyrighted contents. Ordinary HDMI equipment on the market is unable to process HDCP-encoded video sources, but with HDCP enabled devices, such as AV800HD, is able to decode the video signal and process it to achieve instant switching, mixing, and displaying.

Built-in HDCP ModeHDCP mode is fully supported by AV800HD. When it is turned on, copyrighted materials that normally would not be allowed to pass through will now be able to be displayed when permission is given. An indicator will be displayed in System Status menu when the unit is in HDCP mode.

SMPTE TimecodeAsystems video switchers support the commonlyadopted SMTPE Timecodes in 59.94 Hertz and 29.97Hertz, therefore, you can rest assure that the switchers will easily incorporated and work �awlessly with your setup.
