The after school center is designed with the child as the most important user. To ensure children feel as if the space was created to them; an exclusive child neighborhood was designed. The inclusion of the choice of a playful or productive environment will give children the power to choose how they spend their time. This gives them a sense of empowerment and gives their guardians a piece of mind that their child is learning in a safe and positive environment.

The design concept of infinity was created from an analysis of the Burberry brand and the local culture.

Burberry recently transformed their brand into something more contemporary in order to stay relevant in the fast-paced fashion world. However, Burberry managed to retain certain iconic elements during this transformation which implies that the brand’s past is important in defining its future. In essence this makes the Burberry brand timeless. Their new collection is called prorsum, which in Latin means forward. All of these elements contribute to the concept of infinity.

Hinduism is the predominate religion in India and is about achieving enlightenment, or nirvana. The Hindu philosophy describes three deities or metaphors; the creator, the preserver, and the destroyer. This metaphor explains that nothing can be created unless something has been destroyed, and nothing can be destroyed unless something has been created. This creates an infinite circle of existence. The lotus flower is symbolically important in Hinduism; representing rebirth, enlightenment, or nirvana. These components also relate to the concept of infinity.
