We had a wonderful time investigating apples during the month of September! We were busy with all kinds of activities which included tasting, graphing, counting, sorting and making our very own applesauce! We even visited Gray's Apple Orchard! We had a fabulous time!

In October, we were busy with lots of fall activities. We explored pumpkins from inside out and learned about textures, sizes, measuring, counting and much, much more. We even managed to squeeze in a trip to Risser-Marvel Farm for a hayride and pumpkin picking. We also went on a nature walk at Coleman's Park where we used our five senses to complete a nature scavenger hunt. We also learned all about spiders. Did you know that spiders are not insects? They are arachnids! The story of the first Thanksgiving was our focus during the month of

November. We learned about the Native Americans and the Pilgrims as we prepared for our Thanksgiving Program! December continues to be an exciting month as we count down the days until Christmas. We will have fun baking and decorating gingerbread cookies during “C” week. We’ll learn lots of interesting reindeer facts during “R” week. We’ll wrap up December by reading The Polar Express while in our PJ’s drinking hot chocolate! We will also enjoy lots of special “Grinch” activities. We can't wait to share all of our December fun with you during our holiday performance at the end of 2018! From all of us in 3-day Pre-K, we wish your family a very Blessed Holiday Season! Thank you for sharing your wonderful children with us and for all that you do to make our program so special!
