1 Acrobat Professional Setup

These instructions assume that Acrobat Professional 9 and PitStop 9 have been installed. Most of the defaultsettings are irrelevant for JACoW specific Editing, therefore only a selection of Category Panels are shown.

In this document all figures are placed side-by-side to ease comparison between settings and option in AcrobatProfessional version 9 and 7. The pictures on the left (with a slightly more modern look) are Acrobat 9 and theones on the right (in the standard XP look) are Acrobat 7’s.

1.1 Opening the Preferences Setup Window

The preferences setup window can be found via the selection Edit ˓→ Preferences ˓→ General or the key shortcutCTRL + K.
