ORIENTATION PROGRAM 2019

The role of orientation program is to acclimatize new students to their new environment. JIM organized one day induction program for 14th batch of PGDM, 12th batch of MCA and 1st batch of MBA.

The program was inaugurated by lightning the ceremonial lamp by the Chief guest Shri Satish Mahana Ji, Minister of Industrial Development , Government of UP and the Chairman Shri Y.M. Gupta ji , Vice Chairman Shri Ritu Gupta ji , CEO Dr J N Gupta ,Director and other dignitaries.. Inauguration was followed by Ganesh Vandana dance performance by PGDM student.

In his welcome speech, Chairman motivated the students to have a high visionary goals in life and to follow the 4 V's given br Shri Morari Bapu . He briefly explained each V's to the students.

Director of the institute Dr Divya Chaudhry brief the audience about the vision and objective of the institute. She explained the pedagogy and co-curricular activities of the courses and their roles in creating the learning environment for the students to get themselves ready for the corporate career. She took the audience through institute's virtual tour and displayed glimpses of various events organized by the institute.

While introducing the guest CEO Dr JN Gupta said that Shri Satish Mahana is a personality of high values and dedication and his motivational talk will enrich the students in their forthcoming endeavor.

The Chief Guest of the day Shri Satish Mahana ji addressed newly joined students. He gave students mantras for success and satisfaction in life. In his talk he emphasized on the commitment, time management & attitude towards work. He advised one should analyze his daily achievement at the end of the day so as to improvise the same because life doesn’t have an undo or delete button.

The dignitaries present on the occasion were Dr. M.P. Gupta Director- Jagran College, Mr. S.P. Tripathi Director- JIMMC, Mr. Ateek Ahmad Director JIDA, Dr. Asmita Dubey Principal- Jagran College.

The session by chief guest was followed by a short tea break for guest and students.

Post break season of the program started with a logo and awareness quiz. New students participated with a great enthusiasm. Also, in two of the ice breaking sessions Telephone Charades and Supermarket new students interact with seniors in a fun filled environment and enjoyed the activity.

The students were briefed about the examination policy and evaluation criteria by Dr. Anil Kumar Singh. An overview about placements and internship details were given by Mr. Adarsh Srivastava and Dr. Naveen Arora. CFA Anu Jajoo shared the code of conduct, general rules and guidelines laid down by the institute to foster disciplined learning environment.

An interesting event of the orientation was the Alumni talk and senior talk, where 3 alumni and two students from senior batch of the institution interacted with fresher and shared their college experience and success story.

Student volunteer of senior batch of PGDM and MCA carried out activities and coordinated the whole event.
