2017-2020 District LCAP GoalsGoal One: Attract and retain and develop high quality teachers to ensure a positive learning environment for ALL students. Properly certificated teachers, sufficient materials, and appropriate facilities will support high quality teaching and student learning.

Goal Two: Ensure ALL students develop “college and career ready” knowledge and skills through full implementation of Common Core State Standards.

Goal Three: Ensure ALL students are actively engaged and supported through a safe, culturally responsive and rigorous learning environment supported by empowering ALL parents (including those speaking a primary language other than English) to be actively engaged in their student’s education and decision-making processes by providing timely information and educational opportunities to support and expand their role in their student’s education

Looking at Data Objectively● Objective data states the exact observation or measurement that can be

gathered using our 5 senses.For example: 31% of Parents who completed the survey had children at John Muir.32% of teachers have more than 13 years of experience.

● Subjective data attempts to interpret the information using suspicions or assumptions.For example: Parents at John Muir are more involved in their child’s education.Many teachers are near retirement age.
