    About the Project

After researching your musician, you will write 3 blog posts from the perspective of your musician, like he or she is telling his or her own life story. For example: “My name is Count Basie and I was both a piano player and a band leader.” Your first post should be about the musician’s childhood, the second post should talk about the musician’s career and adult life, and the third post should describe the music this musician played or wrote. Each post needs to be at least 2 paragraphs long.

Compose your blog post in Microsoft Word or Google Docs and email to the appropriate teacher.

Research famous jazz musicians to find out more about their lives and musical careers.

Chose a musician below and visit the site for their biography. Use the YouTube playlist to listen to and watch your musician perform.

You can use the QR Codes below or use the links that are listed on the next page.
