Analyzed Scope Of Work (SOW) Specifications from CenturyLink Engineers to determine the work units required to perform the installation of the equipment per the COEI and CAF2 or CAF II contracts.

Coached Junior Inside Plant (ISP) Engineers by providing expertise advise to the Junior ISP Engineers for questions about equipment that they needed to install such as Tellabs AFC UMC-1000s, Calix C7s, E7s, and E3s in various configurations, and E5s; Adtran TA1148s, TA1248s, TA1200s, and TA1100s, MX2820s, TA5000s in DSLAM or voice, data and video configurations and OPTI-6100 SONET transports in various configurations; and various power requirements and configurations.

CenturyLink ILEC – Contract for several locations in Missouri (worked from home) October 2010 – February 2014 Contract Access Engineer

Assumed Sr. Access Engineering duties which included the duties listed below as well as explaining project cost variances that where previously done by retiring Sr. Access Engineer, until a replacement was found approximately 6 months later.

Coordinated several groups to complete a project that I engineered for a transport solution with Fiber, OC3, DS3, DS1 and Ethernet HiCap circuits connected through CenturyLink Fort Leonard Wood Central Office (CO) using a Calix C7 as a 2 Node OC48 SONET Ring transport in conjunction with a Adtran MX2820 shelf configured with a DS1 to DS3 Multiplexer (M13) card in preparation of the move of these circuits from the Old Army CO Point Of Presences (POP) to the New Army CO POP located at the Fort Leonard Wood Army Base.

Coordinated with several groups to complete projects that I engineered to replace antiquated voice remote systems to better utilize our copper facilities and provide Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) services utilizing both Tellabs AFC UMC-1000s and Calix C7s with DSLAM in a SONET OC48 Ring configuration and E5s with DSLAM in an Ethernet Fiber links solutions.

Coordinated with several groups to complete projects that I engineered to add Adtran TA1148, TA1248, TA1200, and TA1100 DSLAM systems to provide DSL to voice remote systems that did not support DSL services and to expand existing Tellabs AFC UMC-1000s, Calix C7s and E5s, and Adtran TA1248s and TA1148s with DSLAMs.

Coordinated with several groups to complete projects that I engineered to do A2E (Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) to Ethernet connections to the WWW (World Wide Web)) conversions for Tellabs AFC UMC-1000s, Calix C7s and E5s, and Adtran TA1248s and TA1148s.

Coordinated with several groups to complete projects that I engineered to provide FTTT (Fiber to The cell Towers) to provide Ethernet HiCap circuits supporting the required OSI Layers 1 and 2 to Sprint, Verizon and ATT Cell sites as well as DS3 and DS1 HiCap circuits using RAD 202A and 204A routers for ATT and Sprint and Adtran OPTI-6100 SONET transports in a SONET ring configuration for the Verizon Ethernet HiCap circuits and for ATT DS3 and DS1 HiCap circuits.

Coordinated with several groups to complete projects that I engineered to provide FTTP (Fiber to The Premise) to provide OC3, DS3, DS1 and Ethernet HiCap circuits supporting the required OSI Layers 1 and 2 to various customers of Centurylink using Adtran OPTI-6100 SONET transports in SONET ring configurations for OC3, DS3, and DS1 HiCap circuits and for the Ethernet HiCap circuits I used RAD 202A and 204A as well as Cisco ME3400s.

Coordinated with several groups to complete a project that I engineered to rearrange 2 Calix OC48 SONET rings which provided Voice, DSL DSLAMs and HiCap customer service to improve configuration download times.
