JENNIFER BLANTON

Jennifer Blanton has a B.S. in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. She started in SAR in 2002 with her Rottweiler, Aspen, after doing competition obedience with her. She also participated in Therapy Dog work for 10 years and has had dogs in several movies and commercials. She has been an instructor at Puppy Love Dog Training for 6 years doing positive reinforcement group classes.

She has certified 6 dogs in various SAR disciplines with NASDN, NASAR, NAPWDA, and NNDDA. She is currently working the following dogs on Texas Search and Rescue (TEXSAR): Wink: Border Collie, 10 y, certified in Area, Trailing, Land and Water HRD. Twist: Border Collie, 8 y, certified in Area, Trailing, Land and Water HRD. Crash: Border Collie, 3 y, certified in Area, Trailing and Land HRD. Wish: Border Collie, 1 y, training in Trailing and HRD.
