Important Instructions :-

• Duration of training will be strictly in accordance with Apprentices Act, 1961,Apprenticeship Rules and its amendments from time to time.

• Registration of BE/BTech/Diploma candidates on www.mhrdnats.gov.in and ITIcandidates on NCVT MIS portal (https://ncvtmis.gov.in) is mandatory. Kindly seerespective websites for registration. After due registration on the website , kindlykeep a copy of Registration No. This copy should be enclosed alongwith theapplication form.

• Candidates with post graduate qualification are not eligible to apply .

• The above registration No. is liable to be verified at the time of interview.

• OBC certificate issued prior to 01.05.2015 or certificate whose validity hasexpired would not be accepted for granting concession.

• Candidates must have completed ITI from NCVT Board. SCVT is acceptable iftrades are not available under NCVT.

• Applications of those candidates who have ... appeared in the qualifyingexamination but whose results have not been declared / available as on01/09/2017 will not be considered for training. Provisional Degree/Certificates ofqualifying exam woul~however be acceptable during the time of joining , but finaldegree certificates shall have to be submitted as &when received .

• Those candidates who have completed the qualifying examination as regularcandidate are only eligible to apply.

• Selection of candidates from SC/ST/OBC/PWD category would be as perApprenticeship rules.

• PWD candidates are eligible only for the designated trades as per apprenticeshiprules.

• Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or at presentundergoing apprenticeship training under any organisation are not eligible toapply.

• Candidates with more than one year work experience are not eligible to apply.

• No TNDA shall be given to outstation candidates for interview/joining GTRE.

Stipend

Candidates finally selected for the apprenticeship training would be eligible forstipend as given below as per Govt of India rules:

B.E./B.Tech./Eqvt.: Rs.4984/- per monthDiploma Rs.3542/- per monthITI 90% of the wages payable per month to the semi-skilled

workmen as fixed by latest Karnataka Govt. GazetteNotification

Medical Fitness

The candidate shou ld possess satisfactory health. Candidates finally selectedwill have to produce Fitness Certificate as per GTRE specific format during joiningissued by authorised Medical officer of any Government Hospital. Certificate issued byESIC hospitals will not be accepted . Final selection of the candidate depends uponhis/her fulfilling health standards as prescribed in Apprentice Act , 1961 and ApprenticeRules 1992 as amended from time to time.

Selection Procedure

1. There would not be any written examination for selection.

/2. Graduate Apprentice Trainees (B.E/B.Tech.lEguivalent): Selection ofcandidates will be carried out by shortlisting of candidates on the basis of marksobtained in the qualifying examination and vacancies available in the disciplinefollowed by an interview.

3. Diploma Apprentice Traineesl ITI Apprentice Trainees: There would be nointerview for Diploma and ITI trades. Candidates would be selected based only onmarks obtained in the qualifying exam subject to satisfactory medical fitness.How to Apply

• Duly filled-in application form along with the required documents should besubmitted either by hand or by post as per General Instructions. Application receivedthrough email will not be accepted.

• Appl ications received after the last date / Incomplete or partially filledapplication forms / Applications without candidate's signature will not be accepted. Alldetails have to be filled in or marked as N/A. The envelope containing applicationform and other documents must be super scribed on top with "Applicat ion forApprenticeship Training -2017 - Graduate I Diploma IITI (as applicable)".

• Duly filled application form along with the documents listed in GeneralInstructions shall be subm itted either by hand or by post to the address mentionedbelow by 05 Sept.2017.

General Instructions

• Candidates before filling the application form shall ensure that they fulfill all theeligibility conditions for the apprenticeship training . If at any stage of selection or evenafter selection and joining or during training , it comes to notice that thecandidate/trainee does not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions or the facts stated arenot true or the documents enclosed by the applicant are false/forged, the candidature /appointment / joining of such individual shall be withdrawn immediately withoutassigning any reason.

• All applicants are required to enclose a . copy of self-attested documentsmentioned below along with the application form :-

Documents to be enclosed: (1) 10th Marksheet and Certificate(2) BE/BTech/DiplomaIlTI Marksheets for all

/ semesters(3) Degree / Provisional Degree Certificate(4) Two Passport size photographs (one pasted

on the application and one pinned with namewritten on the back of photo)

• The Management reserves the right to amend / refix / cancel/suspend theselection procedure at any time during the process without assigning any reasonwhatsoever. The decision of the Management shall be final and binding and no appealof any kind shall be accepted / entertained / considered in this regard.

• Request for settlement of any dispute arising out of application in reference tothis advertisement can only be started in Gas Turbine Research Establishment(GTRE), Bengaluru.

• No correspondence shall be entertained from the candidates not selected fortraining.
