2. Selecting a Vehicle
a. Search by either VIN, Short VIN or VIN Serial Number.
(i) Locate the search boxes near the top of the page.
(ii) Select desired search type from the drop down box. Fill in the blank text field and press GO.
(iii) The Vehicle configuration page (See section 3) will be populated with vehicle details.
b. Alternatively, you can search using the catalogue.
(i) Search using Visual Access. Select the desired vehicle illustration and title.
(ii) Search using List View. Select the desired vehicle from the list.
(iii) The Vehicle Configuration page (See section 3) will not be populated if you have searched via the catalogue.
1. Entering the Application
Open your Internet browser and go to https://epc.jlr-apps.com/.
Internal JLR users select Internal, for users within the Retail Network select Retailer.
To login, type your Username and Password, then press the ‘Next’ button.

Partial VIN?
Partial VIN search allows
you to search via Serial
Number, (Last 6 charac-
ters of the VIN) or Short
VIN, (Third + Fourth OR
Fourth + Fifth OR Tenth +
Eleventh characters of
the full VIN + VIN Serial
Number)
Change Language
Change language by
selecting your desired
language from the drop
down menu on the
Welcome page

3. Vehicle Configuration
a. Vehicle Configuration page if searched via
VIN, Short VIN or Serial Number.
(i) Configuration Selector: Here you will find
a list of the Major Features that define your
selected vehicle.
(ii) Minor Features: Here you will find a list of
the Minor Features that define your selected
vehicle.
(iii) Press the ‘Parts’ button to proceed to the
Catalogue where you can identify the
required parts.
b. Vehicle Configuration page if searched via the
catalogue.
(i) Configuration Selector: Here you will find
a list of the Major Features that define your
selected vehicle. This list will be un-populated.
Select the Major Features from the drop down
boxes.
(ii) Minor Features: This box will be empty if
searched via the catalogue.
(iii) Press the ‘Parts’ button to proceed to the
Catalogue where you can identify the
required parts.
4. Identifying Parts—Using Visual Access
a. Major Group - Select the desired group from the list to start to navigate through the Catalogue hierarchy.
b. Navigate through the hierarchy to Groups and Sections—select the desired Section from the list.

5. Search Search queries can be used to search across the Brands and all the Catalogues.
a. Select your search group from the drop down box, enter your search query and press GO.
b. Search results are shown in a list. Select the desired result and click on View Section to proceed to Section View.
Additional Search Functions
Use the * character to search part of a word
Using it at the start of a word (*ake) will return everything that ends with ake
Using it at the end of a word (bra*) will return everything that starts with bra
Use the following words in search queries for more specific results
AND: Combine two or more words. Query results will show anything that has both queried words only
Example: search: brake AND disk Result: disk brake
NOT: Query result will show anything that matches the first word and does not contain the second word
Example: search: brake NOT disk Result: hand brake
OR: Query two or more words. Results will show parts matching any of the queried words singularly and combined
Example: search: brake OR disk Result: brake, disk, brake disk
Types of Search
Part
This will search and return results using the Full or Partial Aftermarket Part Number or the Aftermarket Part Description.
Callout
This will search and return results using the Callout Number. This can be used within the newer Land Rover Catalogues.
Engineering Part Number
This will search and return results using the Full or Partial (WERS) Engineering Part Number.
Engineering Part Base Number
This will search and return results using the (WERS) Engineering Part Number.
Section
This will search and return part sections. Section number and descriptions can be used in the search query.
Supersession
This will search and return previous supersessions.
Search after Vehicle selection
A search query can be completed at
any point. If completed after a VIN has
been entered the results will only show
those parts applicable to the searched
vehicle
Combine Search Terms
The AND, NOT, OR search terms can
be combined and used more than once
in one search:
- shock AND absorber NOT front
- shock AND front AND absorber

6. Section View
Illustration Viewer
The Illustration Viewer allows you to zoom in,
zoom out, annotate the section and print
the section using the toolbar. For more
information on this screen guidance on page 8
a. Parts Table - Select desired part from the list.
b. Illustration Viewer - Selected section will be displayed.
c. Part Card - Part card gives more details of the selected part.
d. OSI - The OSI column is for indicating if a part is superseded or obsolete and is no longer available.
7. Notes
a. To add a note to a vehicle, major group, group, section or part, hover over the illustration and click on the ‘Add New
Note’ icon (Icon a). A pop-up box will appear (Image a). Fill in the text boxes and click ‘ADD’ to save the note.
b. To view, print, edit or delete a note, hover over the illustration again and click on the ‘View Notes’ icon (Icon b).
A pop-up box will appear (Image b). Select the desired note from the left using the tick box.
Edit Note: To edit a note click on the ‘Edit’ button, this will allow changes to be made and then saved.
Print Note: To print a note click on the ‘Print’ button and follow the print wizard.
Delete Note: To remove a note click on the ‘Remove’ button, the note will be deleted.

Bookmarks allow users to save pages to a list, making them easily and quickly accessible from any page in the EPC.
a. To access the bookmarks pop-up screen press the ‘Bookmarks’ link at the top of any EPC page.
b. Pages can be added to the Bookmark list by clicking on the ‘Bookmarks’ link, name the page by filling in the ‘New
Bookmark Name’ text field and clicking on the ‘Save’ button. The bookmark will now appear in the ‘Bookmark list’.
c. Bookmarks can be opened at any time by clicking on the ‘Bookmarks’ link at the top of any EPC page, selecting the
desired bookmark from the list and then clicking on the ‘Open’ button.
d. Bookmarks can be deleted by clicking on the ‘Bookmarks’ link at the top of any EPC page, selecting the desired
bookmark from the list and then clicking on the ‘Remove’ button. (If you wish to remove all bookmarks, click on the
‘Remove All’ button).
When a bookmark is added, opened or deleted a pop-up notification will appear indicating that the action was successful.

9. Shopping List
a. Select the tick box next to any part that you wish to add to a shopping list.
b. From the drop down menu, select a pre existing shopping list you wish to add the part to or click on ‘New
Shopping List’ if you wish to start a new shopping list. Once selected press the ‘Add to Shopping List’ button.
c. A notification will pop-up to indicate a part has been added to your selected shopping list.
d. To view shopping lists, select ‘Shopping Basket’ in the top right of the application.
e. If ‘New Shopping List’ is selected, a pop-up box will appear with a text field to create a new shopping list.
a. The shopping list shows all parts in a selected shopping list. Different shopping lists can be selected. A shopping list
can be printed or exported as a CSV file using the ‘PRINT’ and ‘EXPORT’ buttons.
b. The ‘Shopping List Manager’, selected from the navigation bar, is where you can delete whole shopping lists. Select
the tick box next to the shopping list you wish to delete, then click the ‘REMOVE’ button.
