Job Description. Prepare and gather all data and information required for effectiveplanning/scheduling, monitoring and controlling the execution of activities of the project.. Preparing the construction schedule in MS Projects. Preparation of otherplanningdocuments (like Progress S Curve, Earn Value Curve, Man power Histogram etc.).. Preparation of project Cash flow, and estimated budget required.. Resourceplanningin MSP (men & material) and its tracking on regular basis.Calculate efficiency of manpower and utilization factors of all deployed equipments based on the actual progress and actual manpower.. Finding Critical Path of project with regular monitoring and preparing schedule impact reports for the project management.. Coordinate with other internal departments regarding the interfacing of construction activities, material & equipment availability.. Preparation of Daily, Weekly and monthly progress report to be submitted to project head and senior managers.. Preparing MS Presentation, Cash Flow, S-Curve regularly. Set Weekly / monthly / quarterly targets for execution team & monitor the same.. Co-ordinating and conducting meetings with contractors/vendors for timely completion of project as perplanned schedule.. Study of contract documents, specifications, tender working and BOQ.. Reviewing of qualityplansand methodology for execution.. Approval ofplanand methodology by Project manager/concerned authority .. Monitoring the progress of the project at different stages of its development. Proactively assessing progress, completion forecasts and providing solutions to mitigate schedule delays or to optimize project completion.. Arrange and attend the schedule review meetings as and when required.

AUTHORITY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES. Build overallplansand schedules for conceptual, front-end designs and for the execution phase of projects, providesplansand schedules for ad-hoc construction service requests, integrated maintenanceplans.. Shall report to the relevant Contractor project control &planningengineer, IAPPlanner and area Construction or Maintenance Co-ordinator for day-day activities.. Role:Establishes and implements methods for collecting, identifying and analyzing various project key performance indicators and metrics from internal and external stakeholders and converts the collected data into presentable reports or presentations.Deploys custom developed and third -party solution packages to monitor program progress and produce various program reports.Create, design and deploy all required reports for use by executive stake holders and updates project dashboard data to ensure effective and efficient reporting processes.Develop and foster productive relationships with all stakeholders.Organize the reporting team to provide various reports and presentations on progress to the Program Manager and the client as necessary.Supports the Project Controls Manager in performing other tasks as deemed necessary.

What You Will Be Doing

We are currently seeking a Project Scheduler to provide scheduling functions required to maintain our scheduling process. This position will prepare, maintain and analyze bid, proposal, pre-construction, construction and as-built schedules as well as support project teams with cost and/or resource loaded schedules, utilizing Primavera P6 scheduling software.

Duties And Responsibilities

-Prepares / leads efforts to develop accurate construction schedules that meet contractual documents (Owner requirements, specs, drawings, etc.)-Generates reports and layouts, which meet bid, proposal, preconstruction and construction requirements.-Reviews and/or updates project schedules on a weekly or as needed, once a month as minimum. Leads update meeting and schedules review sessions. Reviews, verifies and challenges information from Project Team by visiting and walking the project construction site.-Provides support to teams in assessing/documenting delays and impacts, alternate work plans and methods of construction. Conversely, be able to effectively review submitted time extension requests by Contractors. Provides support to project teams when delay(s) have been determined, based on Scheduling Procedure and document on schedule as necessary.-Prepares a Schedule Update Report narrative for each schedule update, which describes current project status, deviations, and identifies any/all critical schedule issues.-Provides scheduling assistance and training to project team members.-Provide scheduling assistance and education to project team members & guidance to scheduling engineers.-Reviews, monitors and critiques the accuracy and realism of all schedules and narratives. Checks schedule for deviations, critical path accuracy, imposed (constrained) dates, durations, logic, sequencing, scope of work (as a minimum). Challenges project team on critical schedule issues. Communicates critical schedule issues and concerns.-Assesses project schedules in regards to Risk Management and ensure schedules meet contract requirements.-Maintains and backs up schedule files for each project in a timely and organized manner.-Establishes and maintains positive and effective working relationships with department, employees, clients, architects, subcontractors and vendors.-Participates in process improvement and lessons learned process.
