POSITION SUMMARY
Under the Leadership of the Sr. Vice President, Finance & CFO (CFO) provides overall direction to the Finance Department. Directs all
accounting, payroll, accounts payable, general ledger and grant activities. Bears responsibility for all financial and budget reporting,
as well as, department and companywide financial policies. Works with the CFO to hire and promote departmental personnel.
Participates in the streamlining and documentation of Accounting Polices & Procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
Responsible for all financial reporting and record keeping functions, internal controls, systems and procedures.
Supervises and prepares monthly, quarterly and annual general ledger reconciliations and ensures that reconciliations for all asset, liability and capital accounts are prepared accurately and timely.
Follows up with the appropriate personnel to ensure timely resolution and correction of out-of- balance items and maintains complete supporting documentation.
Prepares and maintains production costs analyses and reports including net asset roll forward reports in collaboration with production management staff.
Prepares cash flow analyses and pro forma valuations for productions in collaboration with production management staff.
Plans and directs the monthly financial statement preparation of the income and balance sheet statements including analysis of accruals, analysis of the balance sheet and profit and loss accounts.
Ensures integrity and comprehensiveness of controls on a monthly basis, along with compliance with GAAP.
Participates in the annual audit.
Manages the monthly close process.
Assists in the preparation of fund accounting reports and related tax declarations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (OVERALL)
Under the limited supervision of the Sr. Vice President of Finance & CFO, the Controller must be a take charge person focused on a
challenging position. This hands-on role requires the Controller to operate at many levels independently to ensure the successful
execution of each responsibility. The Controller must be skilled in various competencies, as follows: managing multiple projects
simultaneously, planning and accountability, decision-making, problem solving, creativity and human relations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (SPECIFIC)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and five years nonprofit accounting experience.
Experience working with auditors, 990 tax filings, Navision and Fixed Asset Management.
Thorough knowledge of financial modeling and business financial planning.
Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles in a media environment.
Strong understanding of Non Profit Accounting or Public Broadcasting practices.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills for monitoring accounting records and resolving accounting problem.
Good supervisory skills for managing professional staff, including the ability to monitor and evaluate worker performance, establish work priorities and delegate tasks.
Strong computer skills with excellent spreadsheet abilities for financial modeling, including computerized GL maintenance experience (Navision).
Must have the ability to work independently and under time constraints.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. PREFERRED
Nonprofit accounting experience at a television station.
Master’s degree in accounting, finance or business.

Overview:
Macy's Logistics and Operations, distribution center is seeking talented individuals to become a "Warehouse Associate".
Key Accountabilties:To receive, putaway, pick, pack and ship merchandise in a safe, productive and accurate manner. Associates will be cross-trained inmultiple areas.
Ability to key accurately and productively using PC's, hand-held computers or other such devices.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and safety/security guidance.
Must be able to be trained/licensed to operate powered equipment as assigned.
Conduct supply and material handling, including replenishment
Execute line haul/transfer binning process as needed
Operate nest-a-flex and basic conveyor operation
Operate heavy equipment as needed; balers, forklift, etc.
Perform other related duties, special projects or assignments as required.

Ability to use multiple radio frequency devices, i.e. hand held scanners
Ability to learn area-specific functions within multiple systems, i.e. Manhattan WMS and Federated proprietary systems.

SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Director of Human Resources, performs a variety human resources work with
emphasis in technical tasks related to Human Resources practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
Assists in implementing human resources programs by providing human resources services:
- Assist Director of HR with ensuring compliance with appropriate labor laws & best practices for multiple states. Complies with federal,
state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to
requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action; assist in policy
development and documentation.
- Assist Director of HR in improving manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential
solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees.
- Ensures to collect, review, and approve proper documentation provided for performance related situation.
- Gives performance, promotion, and disciplinary suggestions/recommendations to management staff.
- Assist in creating, implementing and analyzing talent acquisition and staffing procedures and processes.
- Assist in creating and implementing pre-employment and onboarding processes and practices.
- Create new hire packages and facilitate new hire orientation meetings.
- Assist in administration of benefits programs, and benefits invoice reconciliation.
- Ensure OSHA and Cal OSHA compliance; assist in creation and implementation of proper safety programs for all staff.
- Assist payroll department with HR/Labor/Payroll law.
- Assist in creation of Paychex Report Writer Reports, for payroll department, audits, etc.
- Back up Payroll/HR Coordinator with payroll processing.
- Other tasks, as assigned.
Working hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
QUALIFICATIONS - This is an experienced level position within the Admin/Human Resources Department. Incumbent is expected to
perform at above satisfactory level. Able to work independently all while keeping others informed of your processes and progress. HR
Generalist will work as liaison between departments; therefore, candidates should be patient and calm to handle requests. Incumbent
must also demonstrate the ability to follow through/follow up - with all levels of staff; must be able to make proper independent
judgment, and follow through, stick to the facts and hold their ground. To perform this job successfully, the individual must quickly learn
Sentry's ERP software and must be technically savvy. The candidate must have strong computer/computer software and administrative
skills and be well organized. HR Generalist must demonstrate confidentiality with HR related matters. HR Generalist must work, both
effectively and efficiently, with members of other departments to accomplish daily tasks. This position requires a person to have good
communication skills and to be customer (internal & external) oriented.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and five (5) years of HR Generalist or
similar experience; or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience required, preferably in Service/Construction
industry. Experience with Certified Payroll/Public Works requirements, is preferred. Experience using Paychex Preview Payroll (MMS),
is a plus. PHR Certification, is a plus.
