John Perry primary school. Medium Term Plans - for Summer 1
Land, Sea & Sky.
Entry point: For the entry point, take the children to visit an aquarium or a lake, or go on a coastal walk where you can observe and
study some of the plants and animals that live in the ocean or in a freshwater habitat. The main purpose of your visit is to find out how living
things survive in a water habitat and how they are suited or adapted to this environment. You should consider also the land animals (e.g.
predatory birds and mammals) that live in close proximity to the water and have a connection to it as part of the food chain.
