Frank Turek & Bob Cornuke

dr. Frank turek is a dynamic speaker and award-win-ning author & coauthor of four books: Stealing from God: Why Atheists Need God to make their Case, I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist, Correct, Not Politically Correct and Legislating Moral-ity. As the President of CrossExamined.org, Frank presents pow-erful and entertaining evidence for Christianity at churches, high schools and at secular college campuses that often begin hostile to his message. He has also debated several prominent atheists, including Christopher Hitchens and David Silverman, president of American Atheists.

Frank hosts an hour-long TV program each week called I Don’t Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist, that is broadcast Wednes-day nights on DirecTV Channel 378 (the NRB Network). His radio program called CrossExamined with Frank Turek, airs on 122 sta-tions every Saturday morning at 10 a.m. eastern and is available continuously on the free CrossExamined App.

Frank is a widely featured guest in the media as a leading apologetics expert and cultural commentator. He has appeared on hundreds of radio programs and many top TV programs in-cluding: The O’Reilly Factor, Hannity and Colmes, Faith Under Fire, and Politically Incorrect. He also writes a column for Townhall.com.

A former aviator in the US Navy, Frank has a master’s degree from the George Washington University and a doctorate from Southern Evangelical Seminary. He and his wife, Stephanie, are blessed with three grown sons.

Bob Cornuke has appeared on National Geographic Channel, CBS, NBC’s Dateline, Good Morning America, CNN, MSN-BC, Fox, ABC, History Channel and Ripley’s Believe It or Not. He has authored six books and traveled across Afghanistan during U.S. bombing strikes on a video and photographic assignment. Bob is currently the President of the Bible Archaeology Search and Exploration (BASE) Institute, located in Colorado Springs, CO. He also serves as special advisor for the National Council on Bible Curriculum in Public Schools and was invited by the President’s staff to conduct a Bible study for White House personnel.

Bob has earned a Masters of Arts in Biblical Studies and a Ph.D. in Bible and Theology from Louisiana Baptist University, but his children believe that his most notable accomplishment, to date, is having his findings featured as a question on a Trivial Pur-suit™ card.

While serving as a crime scene investigator, assigned to major crime scenes, Bob gained invaluable training and experience in investigative and scientific research techniques. He has now turned his investigative skills toward Bible archaeology, using those skills and ingenuity to unlock the doors to sites that often go against traditional archaeological presuppositions. Bob is currently the host of the weekly Television show Gutsy Christian-ity on Direct TV on the National Religious Broadcasting Network (NRB).

Originally sought-out by astronaut James Irwin (Apollo 15) as a security advisor, Bob was later recruited to join the expedi-tion as they searched for the remains of Noah’s Ark in Eastern Turkey. His assignment was to provide protection for Irwin’s team as they operated in the Kurdish-terrorist held region, but, upon completion of the Mount Ararat expedition, Cornuke and Irwin found themselves colleagues and close friends. Bob later became vice president of Irwin’s “High Flight” Foundation, an exploration consortium dedicated to the search for lost biblical locations and artifacts. Several years after Irwin’s death, Cornuke founded BASE Institute to expand on the Mission of his mentor and friend.

When not traveling the world, Bob lives in Colorado with his wife and children. From a majestic hillside near Pikes Peak, an expedition landmark for explorers from yesteryear, Bob directs the modern day efforts of the staff and volunteers of the Bible Archaeology, Research & Exploration Institute.

DetaileD Day-to-Day itineraryJune 8

Depart New York/JFK (if you use our air program) or your home city.

June 9

Arrive in Tel Aviv at 4:00PM, transfer to the Old City of Jerusalem. Welcome dinner. D (The coding on this itinerary means: B = break-fast, L = lunch and D = dinner)

June 10

We will jump right into an amazing tour of the City of David this morning. We will also walk through the new underground sys-tems where the bell from the priests robes was found, plus other temple artifacts. We will visit the Pools of Siloam, Hezekiah’s Tun-nel, the interesting bell shaped, huge, water cistern found under the City of David, then come out at the Southern Steps and exit at the entrance to the Western Wall (and currently mapped Temple Mount). We will be hosted today by Bob Cornuke, Frank Turek and Eli Shukron. BD

We will also see new work surrounding the original sites of David’s threshing floor, the Valley of Hinnom and so much more. Late in the afternoon, we will share commu-nion at the Garden Tomb and then visit the site of the Church of Holy Sepulchre to discuss it’s lore and archeological distinctions. Walk together with Bob and Frank after dinner back through the Old City. BD

June 12

Enjoy Turkish coffee this morning overlooking the Old City. Today is a free day to explore the city, take in the Shrine of the Book (Dead Sea Scrolls and its Museum), shop, walk the ramparts and around the city with one of us, or spend quiet time in The City of Our God! Dinner together tonight. BD
