June 10 – Depart USAYour journey begins when you depart the US on your internationalovernight flight.

June 11 – Arrive in Tel AvivWelcome to the Holy Land! Our representatives will greet you asyou arrive in Tel Aviv and escort you to your Galilee hotel for dinnerand overnight.

June 12 – GalileeBegin your morning with a walk on a portion of the “Jesus Trail" inthe Valley of the Winds and Doves. This is the route that Jesus wouldhave taken between Galilee and Nazareth. At Kibbutz Nof Ginosar,you’ll learn about the “Ancient Boat”, a rare example of the kind ofboat in which Jesus would have sailed. With Bible in hand, cross thewaters of the Sea of Galilee aboard a Kinneret Sailing Companyboat. Along the way, participate in a special onboard worshipservice. Travel to Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ ministry in theGalilee. Visit the synagogue that stands on the site where Jesustaught. Recall His teaching and preaching the gospel of the kingdom(Matthew 4). Travel to the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesuspreached to the people (Matthew 5‐7). At Tabgha, the traditionallocation for the calling of the disciples and the feeding of the 5000,you’ll visit the Church of the Fish and the Loaves (Luke 9). You’llalso visit the Chapel of the Primacy where three times Peterprofessed his devotion to the risen Christ (John 21). Overnight inGalilee.

June 13 – Northern IsraelToday journey North through the Golan Heights and betterunderstand their strategic importance to the security of Israel. Youwill then turn west to the excavation at Hazor, the ancientCanaanite city that later served as one of Solomon's chariot cities (IKings 9:15). Continue on to Safed, whose long history extends fromthe tribe of Naphtali through Crusader and Ottoman occupation tothe art colonies of today. Continue along the Mediterranean Sea tothe Crusader fortress of Acco (Acre). Designated as a WorldHeritage Site by UNESCO, it was here Paul stopped on his finalreturn to Jerusalem, and later the Crusaders held the city for over100 years. You can still see the Templer's fortifications beneath thepresent city. They were built over when it was discovered they weretoo difficult to dismantle or destroy. Travel east to visit theremarkable school on a hill that began with the hands and sweat ofone man and through his vision has blossomed into an educational

complex of excellence. Father Elias Chacour has made the littlevillage of Ibillin world famous as a center for peace and learning.Return to the Galilee for dinner and overnight.

June 14 – Nazareth, Megiddo and Caesarea Maritima to JerusalemVisit Nazareth, the boyhood home of Jesus (Matthew 2: 23).Explore Nazareth Village, a living presentation of the life, times, andteachings of Jesus of Nazareth. Head south to Megiddo on theplains of Armageddon. Here Solomon and other Israeli kings had amajor center for commerce and military protection. Wonder at theRoman aqueduct and theater at Caesarea, a center of earlyChristianity. Here, Cornelius became the first Gentile convert to thenew covenant (Acts 10) and Paul was imprisoned before taken toRome for trial (Acts 23). End your day standing on the HaasPromenade for a wonderful view of the Old City of Jerusalem.Overnight in Bethlehem.

June 15 – Bethlehem In Bethlehem, you’ll visit the cave revered as the place where Jesuswas born (Luke 2: 1‐ 7). The Church of the Nativity, which wasconstructed on the site, is the world’s oldest functioning church.Visit the cave beneath the church and imagine the humblebeginnings of our Savior. Nearby you’ll view Shepherds’ Field wherethe angels brought the shepherds "good tidings of great joy". Thisafternoon you'll have the chance to connect with local ministries.Overnight in Bethlehem.

June 16 – Masada and the Dead SeaVisit Masada, Herod’s mountaintop fortress that became the laststronghold of the Jewish Rebellion against the Romans. Ride thecable car to the top to explore. Peer down upon the remains of theRoman camps and siege ramp below. Travel to Qumran, site of theDead Sea Scroll discovery, to discuss the mysterious community ofEssenes who once lived on the shores of the Dead Sea. Stop at theKasr el Yehud baptismal site on the Jordan River. This site is in thearea where Jesus was likely baptized by John the Baptist. Finish theday at the shores of the Dead Sea for a quick dip in the salt andmineral‐laden waters. Overnight in Jerusalem.

June 17 – Jewish JerusalemBegin your morning visiting the Temple Mount (ConditionsPermitting). Walk the Ramparts of the Old City wall for remarkableperspective on this holy & much contested city Pray at the WesternWall and visit the Teaching Steps (Southern Wall Excavations)

Nebo(Deuteronomy 34), where on a clear day you can see a vast portion of Israel.See the Crusader fortress at Karak, home to a significant Christian communityto this day. Finish your day in the city of Petra for dinner and overnight.

June 21 – Petra to AmmanWander and wonder at the rose red city of Petra, one of the UNESCO WorldHeritage Sites and one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. Journey backin time through the Siq to see the Treasury Building (made famous by IndianaJones and the Last Crusade), amphitheatre, and other public facilities andprivate tombs carved directly into rock! In the distance, the traditional site ofAaron's tomb can be seen. Travel the Kings Highway to Amman for dinnerand overnight.

June 22 – Jerash and Return to IsraelThis morning you will explore Jerash, one of the best‐preserved Roman citiesin the world. Stroll through the oval piazza and wander along colonnadedstreets etched by the wheels of ancient chariots. Stand in the grand theatrewhere an onstage whisper can be heard in the top row. Later in the day, youwill cross the King Hussein Bridge into Israel. Make your way to Tel Aviv fordinner and then preparations for your return flight.

June 23 – Return to USAReturn home with memories of the people and places of the Holy Land!

June 18 – Christian JerusalemStand atop the Mount of Olives as Jesus did and enjoy aremarkable view of the “Golden City” of Jerusalem. Fortydays after His resurrection, Jesus ascended into heavenfrom the Mount of Olives (Acts 1:9‐12). Walk down the PalmSunday Road to pray in the Garden of Gethsemane as Jesusdid (Matt. 26:36‐44). Wander the excavations of the City ofDavid. See the Gihon Spring and walk the steps to the Poolof Siloam (John 9), recently uncovered at the foot of thecity. Explore Hezekiah’s Tunnel, an amazing engineeringfeat that was dug from either end and met in the middle!(Note: Those who are claustrophobic may want to meet thegroup at the other end of the tunnel!) Continue to MountZion to visit the House of the High Priest Caiaphas whereJesus was imprisoned for a night before his crucifixion.Stand in the Upper Room, revered as the place of the LastSupper (Mark 14:12‐26). Overnight in Jerusalem.

June 19 – Jerusalem: Passion & ResurrectionView the Pool of Bethesda (John 5:1‐31) where Jesusperformed the Sabbath miracle, and sing a hymn in theChurch of St. Anne. Visit Herod’s Antonia Fortress whereJesus was brought before Pontius Pilate (Luke 23:1‐11). Walkthe Via Dolorosa, “the Way of the Cross,” and stand inreverence at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Visit andworship at the Garden Tomb, possible site of the garden ofJoseph of Arimathea and experience the reality of theResurrection. Overnight in Jerusalem or night flight.
