RECOMMENDATIONS

Mark CaudillSenior Software Engineer, Grooveshark

“It is not often that you find the right balance between technical prowess, UI knowledge and design aptitude. In Julia you'll find that combined into an excellent tech project manager. The attention to detail she demonstrated and management style made it a joy to work with her.”

Jessica KaplanCommunity Developer, Grooveshark

“I worked with Julia for over 3 years on neighboring teams at Grooveshark. It is rare to come across a team member as versatile and talented. I was always impressed by her ability to stay organized and manage several people under and around her. Communicating with multiple teams, often in two different states, is not an easy task. I believe it's thanks to those ...

James HartigSoftware Engineer, Grooveshark

“Julia filled many roles at Grooveshark exceptionally well; from project manager to email marketing, she has a diverse set of talents that any company would be lucky to have. Between the chaos of management, design, and development at Grooveshark, Julia managed to coordinate launches, bug fixes, and new features, in addition to email campaigns. Julia had a dramatic impact on the product and development process and would be a huge benefit any team.”

James PearsonEVP, Corporate Communications, Grooveshark

“In the nearly 15 years I have worked in the technology and media sectors, I always remember the people that could supercharge a brand and its culture just by showing up to work - because these folks were indeed "change agents."

When I joined and during my recruitment at Grooveshark I was struck by the one common denominator shared by Sam, Josh and the team - (in my experience) how the company was clearly built by building a community of "best in class" innovators like Julia. Industry experts, who quite simply "just get it."

She is the type of employee that makes other employees want to come to work. She is a clear combination of tenacity, experience; and the natural capability of collaborating with each and every part of a business.”

Dave CoykendallSoftware Engineer, Grooveshark

“Julia is a superb project coordinator, routing a massive number of requests and responses between management, quality assurance and development teams quickly and efficiently, while also filtering out noise and redundant request. She's constantly tracking task progress and circulated that information in a clean and accessible way out to all relevant persons.

Having her as our inter-team liaison as well as project manager has made us more efficient, effective, and kept us always on the same page. She was an incredible asset to the team, and it was a pleasure working with her.”

...organizational and leadership skills so many projects at Grooveshark were able to be completed in a timely manner.

I was also lucky enough to attend Julia's Orlando Bar Camp (2015) presentation on Email Marketing, a must see! Her passion for this was quite refreshing.”
