Dear Praying Friends and Partners,

Jesus Christ is indeed faithful and true. Because of His Spirit, we started our campus fellowships with a blast.

The battle against our enemy has been victorious because of HIS power and HIS army. Again, we invite you to pray with us. For the battle belongs to the LORD!

27 “Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 31 But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.

32 “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.

Luke 12:27, 31, 32 (NIV)

In Christ,

Southern Mindanao Regional Unit Praise & Prayer for July

We thank the Lord for the work of the student-

leaders and graduate team volunteers in the

different areas. Even if the staff team was

away, they still proceeded with their plans &

activities. Praise the Lord for how He ignites

the passion in the hearts of our student-

leaders. May this passion continue to burn in

all our hearts even as we face the busy days

ahead.

We praise the Lord that the LCDC Executive

Committee has begun their planning last June 3.

This year’s executive committee will be headed

by Eric Ray Saladar – a graduating student of

University of Southern Mindanao – Kabacan and

also a KC2010 graduate. Please pray that he

may be able to lead well in spite of a busy

schedule. Pray, too, for Darby who will be the

staff-in-charge of the semestral break camp.

We will be holding our Regional Assembly this coming July

6-8 with the theme “Vision Possible: fulfilling the Great

Commission.” Please pray for Kuya Elvin Mijares

(expositions on Nehemiah), Ate Nellie Buenconsejo

(Ordering your Private World), Eleazar Canonigo

(Christian Students Counter Culture) and Ate Nida

Mijares (The Gift of Years: A Theology of Ageing) as our

speakers. May the Lord grant them wisdom as they

minister to us in different ways. Pray, too, for fresh

vision to capture all of us as we work together for God’s

glory.

The staff team had a wonderful and meaningful time during

the staff conference. It was a time of revisiting our

personal vision & the things that really matter to us as

children of God. Please pray for good health, wisdom

and financial provision for each staff as we embark on

another year of service to the King of kings.

There are a lot of staff movements this semester in the

region. Help us pray for smooth transitions,

turnovers, and adjustment with work responsibilities

& relationships with one another. Help us pray that

the staff team will be able to work for the glory of

God and for the advancement of the God’s kingdom.

We are blessed with regular donors who keep on

serving God thru their giving. We continue to pray

for more partners in the ministry who will be our

‘lifeline’ as we reach out to students and graduates

here in the region. Help us pray for the younger

graduates to start giving for the region’s operational

expenses.
