General Information
Argentina
In June 11th at the city of Rosario took place the
1st International Conference on soil and
fertilization: "Strategies fertilization towards
profitability and sustainability" organized by
Rizobacter with participation of DeSangosse
group.
Full day activities included lectures from known
specialists on agriculture from Argentina, as
Jorge Gonzalez Montaner (CREA advisor)
Gustavo Ferraris (Researcher in soil and
fertilization) Agustin Bianchini (Member and
Advisor of AAPRESID) María Fernanda San Juan
(Manager of the civil association FERTILIZAR) and Laurent Martinez (Global Technical and Marketing
Manager of Agronutrition)
The conference had participation of Agronomists, plant nutrition specialists, Key Distributors and
selected group of technicians from Argentina and Paraguay.
Was seen and followed online thorugh the TV Channel “Agrositio TV” by more than 300 participants
from the Argentina and regional countries and its is now a summary available on the web site

RIZOBACTER SALES in june 2015 ‐ ARGENTINA
Rizobacter reported sales of 850 tons of Microstar for the fiscal period closed in june 30/2015 (Fiscal
year of Rizobacter goes from july 1st / 2014 up to june 30 / 2015)
In the last month of june 2015, the record sales of above 200 tons were reported by the company,
thanks to “early sales program” implemented in Argentina and before the arrival of new shipments in
2015
Microstar in Sugar Cane in Bolivia
In the departament of Santa Cruz, of Bolivia, the Sugar Cane Group, Grupo Monica SRL Bolivia, started in
june a MICROSTAR testing on winter plantation of sugar cane to get the benefit of the “starter” effect of
our product in comparison against the base fertilizers applied by their farmers looking in the same
effect.
Preliminary evaluations shown positive response from sugar cane on root development and better plant
development by appliying rates of MICROSTAR in a range of 20 t0 40 kg per hectare, versus the rate of
fisical mixture containing 4 30 10 (NPK) at rates of 120 kg per hectare.
In Bolivia the high levels of clay represent a
problem when phosphorous is retained by
the soil, reducing the levels of crop
development. They have also a problem of
fitotoxicity with the fertilizers, appliying it at 5
to 7 centimeters down on the soil from the
sugar cane pieces.
Grupo Monica is the larget sugar cane
company in Bolivia and it has production
fields also in Brasil and Colombia.
Rizobacter contacted Grupo Monica in Bolivia
as well DeSangosse is contacting with the
same group in Colombia through our local distributor.
México – MICROSTAR for hybrid corn production (Confidential use)
In in april 2015 one MICROSTAR trial was stablished in Guanajuato, México on Seed production field for
Hibrid corn production of Monsanto.
The purpose of this controlled evaluation
was to confirm the benefit from the
application of MICROSTAR in the plants
development (male and female lines) to get
homogeneous plants standards and cicle
adjustement for plants pollination.
Initial tests made in Chile and then followed
in México are showing a very positive effect,
that represents one important market for
the product on hybrid corn seed production.
The first data that come from Monsanto
trials at rates of 20 kg of MIROSTAR per hectare, indicates the improvement on germination with the
increase of stand of plants by 7% with plants more homogeneous and toller against the check.
In addition to the MICROSTAR, in the Guanajuato trials, the application of one granular insecticide was
made in combination with the fertilizer. In the following picture is shown the Insecticide and the blend
of MICROSTAR with the insecticide as was applied.
The mixture was made 1:1 woth Chlorpyriphos ethyl and Microstar, and the rate of application was 40
kg/hectare.
México – MICROSTAR with Granular Insecticide ‐ Querétaro
In Alpura in the location of Querétaro, MICROSTAR was
applied in blend with granular insecticide Allectus from
FMC, for corn protection against the soil insects. Allectus is
the combination of imidacloprid + bifenthrin.
The blend was 1:1 and the application rate of 40 kg / ha.
Mixture as seen in the hopper box is as follows:
México ‐ Microstar on Alfalfa
Microstar is applied jointly with the alfalfa seeds in México, thanks to the size obtained on the seeds due
to the “pelletization” process.
As the size and specific weight of Microstar PZ and the alfalfa seeds there are compatible to mix
togheter on the planting box.
In the left are coated alfalfa seeds and in the right MICROSTAR PZ.
The agronomical proposal to farmers is to substitute 50 kg of technical soluble MAP by 20 kg of
Microstar PZ.
That practice can reduce the cost of fertilization and ensures the germination of every single seed by
reduction of the phitotocicity, ensureing a god germination and aedcquate stand of plants.
