We are in need of volunteers to take care of the flowers beds at front entrance of KAL. Who out there has a green thumb!!! When you are building please make sure you obtain a building permit. Our lawyer will be taking lot owners who are behind on assessments to court ~ so please get these paid up. Next Board meeting – June 13, 2015 ~ 9 am at the Lodge. Board Meeting will be held the 2nd Saturday of every month at 9 am at the Lodge Apirl thru November. Everyone is Welcome! It’s your campground too! Be involved.

Lodge rental Rent to Adult lot owners only
$50 deposit/$50 Rental fee – Deposit is returned after lodge has been checked and clean and keys returned. Please see John or Cathy Jones at maintenance trailer or leave a message 1937-599-1076 to schedule. Make payment by writing 2 checks.

June Events – June 2 – Ladies day out – Yamato Steakhouse in Marysville – carpool leaving from lodge at 11:30am June 7 – Social Meeting 10 am June 27- Breakfast – 8 to 11 or when food runs out. Bake Sale and 50/50. July 4th ~ KAL Annual Golf cart Putt Putt Run – Sign up at Lot 281 Dave Schmitt ~$5 per person. July ? - Christmas in July! Dawn and Keith Reeves to host. More details in July newsletter. July 14 – Ladies day out – Young’s Jersey Dairy, Yellowsprings. Leaving from clubhouse at 11 am August 4 – Ladies day out – Indianhead - Leaving from clubhouse at 11:30 am September 1 – Ladies Day out – Bay Breeze, Springfield. Leaving from clubhouse at 11 am. October 6 – Farmers Market – West Liberty. Leaving from clubhouse at 11 am. ***Due to so many food allergies - all children under 18 need to have an adult present at KAL functions where food is served. We still have Lot Assessment tickets ($10.00) available. Hope to draw winner Memorial weekend. Watch facebook for winner’s name.

BONNIE DREW (Cathy Jones’ Mother)
of Leipsic, Ohio passed away April 30, 2015 at the age of 76. She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Drew. She is survived by her children Daniel Drew, Rodney Drew and William Drew, and Catharine (John) Jones; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 brother: Warren (Mary) Dickey of Leipsic; and 1 sister: Marilyn Thornburg of Bryan. Bonnie graduated Salutatorian of her Leipsic High School class of 1956. She was a member of Leipsic and Putnam County EMS for 23 years. She loved the Village of Leipsic and volunteered regularly serving the community. Keep Cathy and her family in your prayers.

Angels and “helping hands” when John needed – mean so much to us.
