These sweets can tell a story

The best news you’ll ever hear.

It’s about Jesus dying on the cross,

So that we could be brought near.

So as you hold these sweets,

And turn them you will see.

The ‘M’ becomes a ‘W’

An ‘E’ and then a ‘3’.

‘E’ is for Easter Sunday

The celebration that Jesus lives.

‘M’ is for the morning,

And the promise of new life it gives.

‘3’ is to remind us,

that he rose on the third day.

‘W’ because we worship him,

And it’s in his name we pray.

So as you eat these sweets,

And enjoy the special treat.

Remember the meaning of Easter,

A heavenly gift of love so sweet!

An M & M Easter
