And also self motivated Recently I introduced the concept of “Replacement Program” and implemented several suc-cessful trial sites in Scotland. This project was initially to identify vintage Telecare units within the Council’s PNC database allowing Tunstall to build a significant future pipeline of opportunity, whilst offering this service to the customer in a consultative approach.This has immediately proved so successful that the decision has been made to roll out the pro-ject over the entire UK PNC customer base. Forecast replacement figures in Scotland alone are indicated increase by over £500k per annum.

This project is not designed to be a quick win but will identify an ongoing and deliverable pipeline for Tunstall for many years.

Rocom Group PLC 1995 - 2003

Corporate Account Manager

Manage and develop both public and corporate customer relationships to ensure that Rocom is positioned as preferred supplier for all products and services within designated client base. Also to Manage and grow named and key accounts within the top 100 accounts held by Rocom.

Achieved multi dimensional contact strategy within accounts, building a depth of understanding and trust, ultimately leading to successful strategic long term relationships.

Played a significant role in redesigning the Rocom website. This development resulted in the reduction of credit card fraud by 92%, and increased the number of hits to the website. (Rocom website was subsequently sold to one of its competitors, and the format is still used to this day)

Responsible for identifying and managing 400 zero spend accounts as a personal goal, with the result that 179 placed orders within the first 6 months.

Consistent achievement of all targets. This included revenue, margin, personal and departmental.

Promoted to - Corporate Sales Team Manager.

Supervising a team of twelve Telephone Account Managers, reporting weekly to Senior Management on team performance and sales figures.

Responsible for expanding the team by adding a direct sales department to sell to the general public, this team was measured on profit margin and targeted with finding new business. Once this department was a proven success, was then asked to review the returns department and returns procedures with in the company.

Warehouse Operative - General duties including driving forklift truck working 12 hour shifts. Progressed to Assistant working on 4 colour printing press machines then promoted again in 1994 to Operator.Due to business restructure my role was made redundant in May 1995.
