Jyoti Nivas College is a premier autonomous institute affiliated to Bengaluru City University in Bengaluru,
India. It was established by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Tarbes and since its inception in 1966 the college has
been providing comprehensive and balanced education to women. Jyoti Nivas is accredited with A+ Grade
by the NAAC in 2021 and has been conferred ‘College of Excellence’ (CE) by the UGC for excellent endeavours
in the field of education. The institute has integrated knowledge, industry, experience, and international
exposure to offer contemporary programmes that are in tune with the requirement of today’s business
and academic world.
The Department of Psychology was started in 1968 and caters to the increasing need of young adults to pursue
studies and profeassions in Behavioural Science. Manasi - The Psychology Association provides a medium for both
professional psychologists and students to explore and examine psychological issues outside the classroom.
The Department of MBA established in the year 2007 focuses on combining business acumen with a team-based
management philosophy along with strong social consciousness. The approach to education utilizes qualitative and
quantitative methods to solve business issues through industry interactions.
Objectives of this eConference
The relevance of workplace well-being and initiatives adopted to improve the collective mental health of the workforce
in the changing work environment in these difficult times needs a platform for discussion. This eConference has been
organized to share practical approaches for anyone involved in leading workplace well-being initiatives within their
organization which would support their own well-being or the well-being of the people they work with.
