An excellent study in legato thirds in the right hand. (To assurecorrect position of the hand in third-playing, always use the tip ofthe thumb on the edge of white bey). The fifth, octaves, etc. in

the left hand must be weil sustained - played rather heavilv. Tis also a good studx in dynamics and slladings - ob serve alfindications carefully. Pedal as marked.
