• Lenin studied at the Faculty of Law of Kazan Emperor University for a short period of 3 months in 1887. It was the only university in his life.

• Lenin’s father Ilya Ulyanov is alumnus of Kazan University

• 3 brothers and sister of Leo Tolstoy are alumni of Kazan Emperor University
