Summit Custom Homes has officially announced that they will build Kansas City’s 2014 St. Jude Dream Home. This will be Summit’s 4th annual Dream Home campaign.

The project was kicked off on Wednesday, January 15 with Bricks & Sticks and Groundbreaking. Summit’s vendors, trade partners, sponsors, and supporters were in attendance, and had the opportu-nity to sign up to participate in the project. For the past two years, Summit has built net zero homes.

“Our Dream Homes are 100% donated, from the ground up. Our trade partners and supporters are so amazing. They give so much of their time, talent, and energy to the Dream Home project, and for that we are extremely grateful. St. Jude is close to our hearts, and has become a part of our everyday culture at Summit. The hospital is doing astounding research, which they share freely with other hospitals. No family ever has to pay for their child’s treatment at St. Jude. We fully embrace the organization and are so happy to be a part of the Dream Home Giveaway,” said Me-gan Fratzke, Marketing Manager for Summit Custom Homes.

To date, Summit has raised over $3 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In 2012, the company was awarded the “Builder of the Year” and “Zero Hero” awards, and in 2013, they again received the “Zero Hero” award for their net zero home.

The public will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for a chance to win the Dream Home. Tickets will be $100 each, and will go on sale in June 2014. The home is being built in The Shores at Chapman Farms, at 8808 SE 1st StreetBlue Springs, MO 64064.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is the global leader in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other deadly diseases.
