Electrical installations- main additional power need (UX or Surface)? to be foreseen well in advance with EN/EL (previous slides from EL)
- Experiment equipment powered by same network of LHC (EXD)
can your systems live with power cuts?- glitches (µs ; often)- micro cut (ms-s ; few/year) rk: with LHC stop- AUG tests (1day/year)- switchboards, transformers maintenance (2-5days/2 years)
- Possibility to power systems with ‘secure’ powering (schema next slide) quantity of power limited : must be justified
- Possibility to install ‘repowering’ possibilities ex: for failure in the distribution, during AUG, maintenance
