KEVIN SPIRTAS From the start of his career, Kevin Spirtas has been celebrated as one of the true, rare, tour-de-force performers in entertainment— thrilling and capturing the hearts of audiences in every medium. Most recognized around the world for his portrayal of Dr. Craig Wesley for 7½ years on NBC’s daytime drama Days of Our Lives, the 30-year acting veteran has appeared around the world in film, television, onstage, and now online! Kevin has made his presence known in the entertainment industry, having worked with some of biggest in the biz like Meryl Streep, Ben Affleck, Olympia Dukakis, and Hugh Jackman. Recently, Spirtas received an Emmy Award-Nomination for Best Actor, and won the 2016 Indie Series Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of Dominic Delacorte on the new digital drama series Winterthorne. On Broadway, Spirtas played Mike (I Can Do That), Costa (A Chorus Line), Warren Sheffield (Meet Me In St. Louis), and Corny Collins in (Hairspray). A tribute to Spirtashigh-octane talent came in 2003 when he was cast as the stand-by for Hugh Jackman in the smash hit musical The Boy From Oz. One of Spirtas’ favorite credits is his Days of Our Lives role of Dr. Craig Wesley opposite Matt Leblanc’s Dr. Drake Ramoray on NBC’s Friends. Other television and film credits include roles on L.A. Heat, V.I.P., Fired Up, Silk Stalkings, Quantum Leap, Embrace the Darkness, Striking Resemblance, and Green Plaid Shirt. Spirtas was featured opposite Sir Ian McKellen in Bryan Singer’s Apt Pupil, and Ben Affleck in Mark Steven Johnson’s director’s cut of Daredevil. He can also be seen starring in the fantastic cult classic slasher sequels Friday the 13th VII, Subspecies II, Subspecies III, Albino Farm, and Wes Craven’s The Hills Have Eyes II. In 2009, Spirtas made his debut as a Broadway producer with the critically acclaimed revival of Finian’s Rainbow. In 2012, he co-produced the hit Broadway musical Priscilla... Queen of the Desert, and is now a co-producer on the smash-hit Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen, which has been nominated for 9 Tony Awards. Currently, Spirtas is in post-production of the new on-line drama series After Forever, which he has co-written with Days of Our Lives alum writer Michael Slade. Spirtas will also co-produce and star in the series. After an extraordinary trip to China in 2014 where Spirtas had the privilege to observe and work with the monks and nuns of the Tian Tai Si monastery in the Hubei province of Hongan, he was inspired to create the new talk show What’s Your Side?... focusing on the myriad of spiritual philosophical sides of people’s lives.
