Career Profile
Began my teaching career in LSR in 1985 soon after my
post graduation, then taught in Vivekanand Mahila College. Finally joined as a permanent faculty in Shivaji
College in January 1991.

Making of Today’s India,” in the UGC Sponsored National Seminar on Today’s India: Culture, Society, State and Economy 6th and 7th September 2017, Organized by Motilal Nehru College (Evening) University of Delhi. Delivered a talk on Sufi Islam: Notions and Praxis in the Seminar organized by the History Department Aurobindo College Evening, 10/11/17. Gave a brief introduction of the book Seeking Communion : A
collection of Conversations, compiled by Joseph V. Edwin,
Published, Henry Martyn Institute, 2018, on 15/3/18 at its launch.
Participated in the Seminar: “Methodology for interfaith dialogue in
different religious traditions” and presented the paper, “Sufi
Perspective on Inter-Faith Dialogue” held in January 3-4, 2019 in
Indian Institute of Social Science, Delhi.
