Recovery: Your Hopes and Dreams

When the mood strikes you, take a moment in these next few days to dream about what the Burnout Solutions class can do for you. Maybe you’ll get some of your energy back? Maybe your mood will improve? Or maybe you’ll even get back some of your concentration and drive!

Bring these hopes and dreams to the workshop: “KICK Burnout OUT, and start Recovering your Drive, Energy and Productivity right away.”

For this workshop, the greater your expectations, the greater your results!

Before We Start…You’ll get even more value from the webinar, if you take a few moments for yourself to reflect on these first 7 questions before we start.

No long answers necessary. Just jot a few words to cue your memory.

1. Why did you feel called to go into your line of work in the first place?

2. What are your stress warning signs? What happens to you when you push yourself too hard?(Examples: Nervous habits, body pain, insomnia, snapping at others… If you need ideas, think of the people who work closely with you or know you the best. How would they answer this question? How do they know when you are feeling stressed or overwhelmed?)

3. Name at least one person you admire for their ability to handle stress with resiliency and grace.

The next one will be right there waiting for you, when you’re ready to focus on it.

Next Steps: Get Support! To ensure your burnout recovery, it’s critical to find ways to connect with others for solid ideas, support and perspective. Research has shown that when striving to reach a goal or establish a healthy habit, people with 6 friends who are specifically supporting them are much more likely to be successful.

If you decide to build your support group on your own, be gentle with yourself here, too. Rebuilding your support network takes time and patience.

What Burnout Solutions’ Clients Are SayingWhen I met Beth I wasn't simply burnt-out, I was crispy. What I loved doing I no longer loved at all. I couldn't understand how my personal passion had turned into a blood-sucking vampire draining meaning from each and every task.

She helped me see that by doing small, simple, and satisfying things for myself I could reintroduce meaning and satisfaction into my days. I am indebted to her in ways that I am sure she does not even realize.

— James Wantz, Dynamic Movement Coach

I can recognize burnout and how to protect myself and cope better with stress. I do the steps consistently, so I do not have major burnout.

I pay more attention to how I am feeling & work on learning how to “let it go” whatever it is.

— Maureen T, Professional Women’s Group Participant

My healthcare provider just said I was one of many women who was burnt out, but he thought I could handle it. This didn’t help me.

At the Burnout Solutions workshop I learned red flags to ensure I do take steps! It’s okay to be concerned about myself and find real ways to deal with this.

— Melissa C, Therapist in Private Practice
