Goal• Connect our 60 Aboriginal

young people living across 94 sq km of Kingston Council Melbourne metro area, to their culture and to each other.

• Secondary College had identified disconnection from culture and each other.

FIRST ENGAGEMNT 4 years ago:

• Most young people had never heard Aboriginal language.

• Most had never met an Aboriginal Elder

• Most didn’t know the Aboriginal name of the Country they were born on.

• Some had never worn a pair of goggles

• Most had never met a marine biologist, an EPA scientist, a skipper, a first mate or a film maker.
